Is this a permenant replacement, or an indefinite substitute? Unfortuantely, Krill was the prime replacement I had lined up for the European games. Did you check with Bongo by any chance?

I'm on vacation I'm afraid. playing saves will be difficult as I dont have civ3 on my parents computer and I only brought the conquests cd. my girlfriends laptop has conquests but not version 1.22 and the network card is messed up so I cant hook it up to the net here. gimme a day and I'll see if I cant get everything in working order, but right now we're going to a family party so I guess its gonna have to wait until this evening, possibly monday morning... sorry fellas.

Um, not caring about time zones is not a selling point.

Russ is an east coast American and an earlybird, so he should be a good match. It's not like any multi-turn sessions are happening anyway...

LzPrst, the other players have found subsitutes for themselves while going on a vacation/ sorting out connection problems, I would apreciate it if you would either play or do the same. Last turn has been quite a while.

Trouble seems to be contagious. C3C doesn't work anymore on my desktop computer. I had a corrupted file.
Tried to repair. Didn't work.
Tried to uninstall. Didn't work entirely.
Deleted manually and tried to reinstall. Redundacy failure on some file.
Fortunately I have a labtop (which was installed 1.15). Have to look into double install for the 1.15 games now. On the bright side, with the labtop I'll be able to play more often.

Flandrien is gone until the 11th and left me instructions on playing Carthage for him. L-Z-boy is in a situation where he has trouble playing turns, but then completely neglects to update the rest of us. I'll give him the full 24 hours before skiping his turn until F gets back, at which time I'll look into another replacement...
