    I'd suggest looking over the etiquette/exploit list to make sure everyone is aware of them and agrees on the options before beginning.

    In particular:
    1-2a
    1-3a
    1-3b
    should be specifically agreed to. Likewise with the possibility of combat reports.

    Other items that bear repeating:
    Rules
    11) All players expected to make simple 'sent' post in tracking thread each turn, listing year played, except when technical problems interfere.

    and
    etiquette/exploits
    1-3 Players shall not exchange in-game information until they are represented on each other's diplomacy screen.
    3-1 Players shall dismiss all pop-ups (when allowed to) at the beginning of their turn until the 'production phase' is complete.

        Sorry Flandrien, you responded before I could finish my editing (good sign ). I'm hoping for a brief discussion on the options and finer etiquette points before starting.

          I also declare my agreement on all things mentioned on etiquette/exploit list

          If anyone has other things in mind that need to be agreed on before the game starts, or you dont agree with the exploit list , now is the time to speak

              I'm also referring to 1-2a, 1-3a, and1-3b, as some may have reservations about these.

                Iron Jackson should get the first turn as soon as he is up and logged in.

                The first two posts in this thread will be kept up-to-date with occasional information on your game.

                If you want a restart, speak up before you pass your turn on.

                  Ship chains are propably not that important in Pangaea game, i'd have no problem with them allowed, the use of ship chaining is very limited anyway.

                  1-2, 1-2a great rule, gives seafaring & expansionist traits some value. from me

                  1-3ab, no objections here. gives embassy some use.

                      Ok, that's 24. :-( I've resent the email and PMed Iron Jackson again. I think it would be a waste to start playing turns for players already, so if I don't hear a response soon, I'll bring in one of the waiting players and regenerate the game for a fresh start.

                      (Flandrien, as you have the Celts, You might consider a quick trip across the border to wake IJ up. :-)

                        I mailed him too, included all links and details. Just in case he isnt getting your mails or something.

                        I'd say give him atleast 24h more before considering other options, cause Poly was pretty much inacessible yesterday.

                            I agree with the exploit list, except ship chaining, I feel this should be allowed...
                            but if there is consensus among the rest I'll give in to the will of the majority.

                              You and Conqueror are fine with ship chains, so they will be allowed.

                              No response from IJ. Since he left no notice about leaving, I'm going to ask McMeadows to take his place. If this turns out to be a fluke emergency, I'll make IJ the #1 alternate for the B and C games.
