The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Dual install has been established. My cd-rom seems to be damaged. Fortunately I have a friend over with C3C as well, which he brought (to play MP). I still can play, just can't install with my own cdrom. What's the procedure to get a substitue copy?
don't worry about things you have no influence on...
Flandrien is due back today, I'll let the turn float for the full 24.
It looks like LZ has very limited interest in the long haul here. Bongo is the only other European I have listed as interested in the IC, has anyone played PBEMs with him before?
Otherwise I'll look at the replacement games for an American that will keep the daily pace...
I dont know anyone who could take over for me. And I do have an interest in the long haul, the problem has just been this vacation that has had me totally swamped and I havent even thought about this for the last couple of days. Normally I follow trough its just when I have to leave home that my routines get all messed up. I will be back in place on friday if you will still have me. If Rommel can substitute again that would be great. If not, you will have to replace me despite the fact that I do want to play. I'm sorry but I have other things to do as well, though such interruptions will occur only 2-3 times during a year.

The 'long haul' in this case is about maintaining a turn-a-day pace until the game is over. Unless something drastic happens, it looks like this game will finish well after the other three. Other players have been taking breaks for whatever reasons, but they have alerted myself and the other players in advace and made arrangements to one degree or another to compensate. This was the second time you took an extended leave without notifying anyone.
In another PBEM I'd be more willing to work something else out- I liked the posts you made when you were around, but the first-round games of this tournament are primarily about keeping a schedule to set up the final game. I'll be searching for someone else to assume the Mongolians.
My first "extended" leave was less than 2 days whichof 15 hrs was travel time and 10 hrs of sleep...
I cant say I'm happy with this but if it is so important to keep the speed of the game then I guess I'll have to go. Strike two, you're out... The irony is of course that I can play my turns at a maximum of 10 hrs after I get them (and thats only if I get them right after I've left for work) without any interruption all the way until christmas. And I'm willing to play until the game is ended, but I guess that wont happen now.
Congratulations bongo, you've taken over a great position and I'll spam you if you dont win
It would be nice also if I could get the occasional save to see how you're doing.
You might want to change your quote LzPrst... It doesn't help to convince people you are able to keep up a high pace game.
All the best in what you do, and we might meet in another game.
