Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
My only major comment is that if GS moves one of their two western cariots one tile north - they will see the so-far-hidden stack of immortals. Let's hope they are playing fair and don't use various saves for scouting.
There is really no reason for them to move north - and besides - they will see them soon.
Tomorrow.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
New city built - Beta-by-the-Sea (a lovely resort town and Vox's first surf shop )
Lots of troops heading south to the war zone. Spearman from Miller Town next turn will stay in the north - as will one spearman in Elipolis.
War zone - two immortals from galley deposited on mountain. Galley went back and picked up Harry who will join the others this turn.
As per HarryH's suggestion the spearman from Iron mountain is headed to Harry's spot. Two spearmen coming south will take up spots on iron mountain.
Three immortals from D'ville moved out into the grasslands. In one move they will be on the coastal forest tile - and ready for pick-up by the galley. This is a quicker route than going all the way to iron mountain. Also - they are out of range of the chariots. If the chariots do move - they will take up position as per Kon's suggestion. Subsequent Immortals can also take up that position.
The advance continues. I felt it was worth the risk moving our spearman out to the eastern most mountain. He is a vet - on a mountain. Even the regular swordsmen could have probelms with him.
The others have all moved up - including the big stack of 8 immortals. If their chariot moves one tile north, they will see the stack.
We are three turns away from attacking Arashi - unless they raze it before we get there. The spearman is only five tiles from ther capitol.
Southern GoW galley has not moved. The northern one would appear to be headed for Port Isolation. ???
I will enquire with Ghengis. I suspect they are waiting for the feudalism deal. I will also feed Ghengis another false troop report. 1 immortal and 1 spearman.
The D'ville scientist works like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion Harry. With that move and the new city - we are up to 36 gold per turn.
Also - in a chat with Nimitz last night - he asked if we wanted a second loan - I said we would get back to him on that in two turns.

How supportive are they willing to be and how much risk are they willing to take? I have a bizarre thought going through my head right now. I need to setup a test case tonight.

I suspect he is anayzing what GoW could do if they decided to side with GS and stab us in the back. Been thinking it as well. Their behaviour is odd, to say the least.
Ghengis says they have feudalism next turn. We will want to see definite movement towards GS territory. None of this one and two tile nonsense. GS does not need to know they do not have a galley there. They can still feed them false reports while their galley heads south.
I will be interested to see his response to my memo regarding CalcII's post.

I think they will stay on our side. I think they really want to see GS taken down. They have a good idea of how big our army could be I don't think they want to fight us for little gain.

Do not display what people want, And the people will not have their hearts confused. A sage governs this way: He empties peoples minds and fills their bellies. He weakens their wills and strengthens their bone. Keep the people always without knowledge and without desires, For then the clever will not dare act. Engage in no action and order will prevail."-Loazi "The Classic of The Way and Its Powers"

I suspect GF does not want to move the galley into GS territory because it would make GS suspicious that GoW does not have a galley stationed as they agreed.

That's what I keep telling myself as well. And by all accounts, GF is a man of his words. Time will tell.

Beta, my bizare idea involves Lego, not GoW. It will have to wait as I have a few things to do tonight before I can setup my scenario. I am just itching to see what happens...
More production and more movement of troops. Most is evident from the screenshots.
In the south - GS will now see the stack of Immortals - if they didn't see it last turn. Will be intersting to see if they stay and fight.
There is a spearman in each of the stacks on the mountains. The stack next to the GS swordsman has 11 immortals. There are 3 in the stack to the west. Over on the east coast - the jungle tile has 3 immortals and a spearman for ferrying into the eastern mountains. Harrry was dropped there this turn - and argha and Kali are on the move.
GoW galley is set to move onto GS territory.
One warrior upgraded this turn. 3 more on the move, and 3 more produced next turn. 3 spearmen also on the move.
Note the size of their capitol.
Also - I think they are pillaging the road they were building - are they not? The one heading north on the grasslands.
Also - they must be confident about getting their cities back as they still have workers making improvements.
QUESTION - The Voice - could have produced a regular warrior next turn. Or a speaman in two. Or a settler in 3. Do we want the settler - or should I crank it to produce immortals? The settler could be used to replace Monsoon if they raze it - but I understand from some chats tonight that GS does not plan on razing any cities as they expect to recapture them. Also explains their infrastructure work.
Or - we could put another city south of Elipolis - to take advantage of the two enhanced grassland tiles. Or - as I said - an Immortal every three turns and let it grow. May be the best option - unless they raze Monsoon.
Just a few notes before I head out for the weekend.
I think GS is letting their capital grow to increase shield production. All those mined fur tiles will produce plenty of shields. GS may be able to have Eye produce a swordsmen every turn. I have not calculated it to know for sure.
Yes, they are pillaging the road. Since those tiles can note used by their existing cities they probably figured the risk of us using the roads was too great.
Note that they have finished the road on the mountain next to Arashi. That means chariots will be able to attack our units when they reach the mountain. I suggest pillaging it when you get the chance to help protect any wounded units left there from attacking Arashi.
The best place to attack Monsoon is from the unimproved tile betwen Monsoon and the iron since any units there will be farthest inside the border after capturing Monsoon. It does not look like Monsoon will grow to size 2 so it will raze. Consider instead moving the units to follow the main force and coming at Monsoon from the hills on the other side so our units are not caught on the flats.
We can now see a couple more mountains in the chain. The main force should follow them to continue to expose more territory and look for other cities.
