Oh no. Of course not. The squid must stay, but the cacti must be eaten also. See, my slave Gastronome Neecap likes them...Gastronome? Gastronome? Quick! Call an ambulance!!

I don't believe a word you say; only kids think you can tell the spirits' thoughts by examining seeds. Everyone knows you have to examine the testicles of a bull to communicate with the spirits. Buying some expensive alcoholic beverage will help too - it is rumoured that the Iberian Delight is built on the remains of a villa owned by a spirit. So keep on buying liquor for your own sake!
You dare question the High Priest!? The spirits will strike you dead for this blashpemy

Besides, I only want to see what the spirits have to say about seeds, not see what the have to say using the seeds.

The High Priest has been insulted! Men of honor! Gather round his holiness! Blasphemy must be struck down! Have a squid!

Of course...if we do strike down the blasphemer, we'll loose the best (and only) tavern in Spain, and the best newspaper in Spain, and some of the best prices on squids. Let's quietly forget about all of this, OK? High Priest, if you'd like to ignore this incident, we'd be pleased to give you a...life-time supply of fried calamari. Yes, that'd do, right? Right?!

Yes, that will be sufficient to apease the wrath of the spirits. The bartender is forgiven.

I bow before your holiness's wisdom and sense of unnerring justice. Surely a more holy High Priest could never be found in all Iberia, or in all the world. (kiss this guy's ring, Gastronome...and get that cactus needle out of your chin)

I am truly sorry. I should not have blaphemized (is that a word?). It must have been the cacti; they make me a bit dizzy and irrational. This could be a very lucrative business, selling cacti to my customers. I'm not sure what the laws on narcotics are, but I would truly be happy to add cacti to my menu. el_ruby_maser, I think we can work out a deal here.

I will, of course, let the squids remain on top of my menu. I would anger my customers and thus endanger my profits if squids would be harder to get...

                    Of course, Petro.

However, the word is blasphemed. Remember that. If all else fails, remembering that could get you an extra buck or two.

What do you have to drink here? I think Cactus Juice can be very tasty (of course, use a strainer when you pour it, damn needles can ruin a good buzz).

How about squid sauteed in cactus juice, or visa versa. Very tasty, as far as you know.

I would like to buy everyone a round of p*ss-warm chango in memory of Gastronome Neecap Sr.

As to the nature of his untimely demise, I have no comment at this time, and my lawyers are advising me to avoid interviews with the press.

I would, however, like to recommend that everyone try the cactus; according to Senior Calamari, it was a favorite of our belated friend

As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln
