  • At this point they've got what, 5 healthy Immortals in the Knight's Gambit?

Take that number down to 4, even at the cost of a MedInf, and I'll be happy.

Let'em try to walk out... Operation Tsunami is soon to come.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

    • Immortals just count as two warriors?

      • Six healthy immortals in their main stack, and another healthy immortal (albeit a regular) on Arashi 9 if they decide to make Arashi their target.

        • Does the advisor take the 'injured' HP into account?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

          • I must have hit the wrong key... 6x5=30... so 5 Immortals (they are worth close to 3 Warriors I think)

            • I have no idea alva. Everything I say about the military advisor is just a rough estimate.

              • Of course Aeson's calculations are plus or minus a bit, since "average" is a range rather than an exact number. And we don't know whether it's our new construction that made us average (in which case we're almost certainly just barely up to average) or whether it's a delayed effect of losses from last turn.

It is your call, Theseus. If Nathan can be talked into it.

I just checked what we can produce.

                  EotS: Pike, 1 per turn
                  Hurr: Pike, 1?
                  Temp: Pike, 2 turns
                  Aras: Pike, 3
                  Torn: MedInf, 3
                  Bldb: MedInf, 3
                  Cycl: WarChariot, 2
                  SS: WarChariot, 10
                  WW: WarChariot, 7
                  OG: WarChariot, 7
                  Mons: WarChariot, 7
                  Sufa: Galley/WarChariot, 6/4
                  Typh: Galley, 3

With a little gold rushing for either pikes at Arashi (or MedInf) and one WC per turn, we are in fine shape.

                    • I don't think we should attack Immortals on the mountains. Any move they make with them (attacking our cities or moving to the flats) favors us.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

                      • Just ran a quick test to see what Pikes are worth compared with Immortals, and 36 Pikes are weak compared to 20 Immortals... 37 average.

                        It looks like Offense is rated ~2:1 over defense ~(40a + 120d = 80a + 40d)

If you do hit their stack with a Med Inf, may the RNG gods be with us (again).

                              • I would rather get our mines finished so that OG and WW can do some real good while the GA lasts.
