  • No rush on it, but if someone could post an updated end of turn save, I'd love to continue studying it.... (you know....while I'm hard at "work")

    • I don't think we can get an end of turn saves. When you reload them the game will recalculate all city growth and production, so it kind of screws the whole thing up.

      Or did you mean screenshot?

        • I've just forwarded the end-of-turn screenshot to your @velociryx.every1.net address. Can you get at that while you're at "work"?

Do you want to be permanently added to the mailing list so you receive all screenies?

That's could turn out useful, as long as we're still facing galleys with 3 movement points. If there's a galley we want to keep safer than the others, we can end its movement in sea, and as long as we see three tiles ahead in any dangerous direction (e.g. with a galley scouting one tile ahead), we should be safe from anything but suicide attacks.

                • That's a really good point. It won't always be an option, but to the extent we can work things that way, it makes sense to do so.

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

EDIT: a perfect example that plays well with Arrian's last post:

                    • Did we send GoW another peace offer on turn 99?
Are we going to send another one this turn? I would suggest to continue sending offers every turn, until they accept our proposal or until something radical has happened.

Btw, Vel: thanks for the URL, that site looks interesting. I'll have a more in-depth look later.

Yeah, I think we should send one every turn.
