I meant things run better with deity level unhappiness.Forget the ai.Like you actually may need temples for example. And you actually have to build something besides settlers and caravans.
The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

You have a valid point there, but warfare is a lot easyer to handle in deity then king. Witch evens it out a bit.

Everyone can build a couple of temples and markets thats no biggie, dealing with large opposing army's with double movement, now thats a challenge.

I gotta agree with that also.......2x2x can be a real bit** when a bunch of troops come out of no where and crush ya.....a real ego crusher

The thing that really gets me about 2x movement is that cats get to move and attack in the same turn... not a good thing

game is decided in the first 10 turns. The person who gets the most tribes from huts, or the most units wins. Once you got tribes you just spend the rest of the game filling in the spaces. And if your playing a duel, only a idiot would build caravans on 2x 2x king. First off there is no way in hell your going to get 200 gold per caravan. Once your cities are that big to get that much money invention or navigation has been discovered and your back to 30 gold a caravan. The only ones who play 2x 2x are those who want RTS speed but can't handle RTS !

So you'd never build caravans in a duel huh? What about for wonders? And I've had loads of games where my opponent has had 4 cities or so to my one and tons of units, and I've still ended up winning... and this is on a small OR medium map.

                      I have

But I admit that's a dumb argument, he is right though, you shouldn't use caravans for trade in duels.

I was refering to mass cara buying for trade.
