You know, I'm really tempted to suggest that we restart the game (with the released version as an added bonus), since it's only been a few turns and Ecthelion has really screwed up the game for Russia.
I don't know what he was thinking being so provocative. Maybe he just didn't understand the scenario too well, I dunno, but now I'm sitting here with no navy and numerous profitable trade interests at the bottom of the sea.
In case you guys still want to play on, here's the save. I had numerous opportunities to attack the British, but I took none of them, in hopes that Gary'll give the new guy a break. Russia is very weak now, but I guess I'll always have Constantinople anyways...
