We post our end-turn saves in the Annual Reports thread, and in the AC-Democracy Team Game forum, the beginning-turn saves are posted under the Turn Tracking Thread

    • If the Morganites get Ascetic Virtues, which I think they might....a lot of things might happen....
Arise ye starvelings from your slumbers; arise ye prisoners of want
The reason for revolt now thunders; and at last ends the age of "can't"
Away with all your superstitions -servile masses, arise, arise!
We'll change forthwith the old conditions And spurn the dust to win the prize

      • Morgan completed the PTS since our last turn and shot from 12 population to 34.
We could estimate Morgan's base count given those values..

        • 34-12=22 Eleven bases perhaps?

Anyway, I looked at Hive production report. Hive is gearing up fully towards war now (synthmetal sentinels and several impact units) and should have impact weapon prototypes as well a couple of rovers. I strongly suggest that we do not try to blindly attack Yang, it is better to retreat to a defense position somewhere, so we can destroy incoming units - it is pointless to waste them this way. We should only cover PT. Also, he will have a probe team ready in our tech rape base target.

            This is a bit wrong..

If PTS upgrades all bases to 3 that means if all bases are at 3 or less, then the pop count should be a number which divides with 3 smoothly, BUT we have a number which gives:

            34/3 = 11.(3)

            So my estimate is such:
1.Morgan has 1 base with pop of 4 which didn't upgrade after PTS (probably the same base which built the SP)

            2.so:

            34 - 4 = 30
            30 / 3 = 10

            So Morgan has 11 bases

            • Alternatively, some bases built CPs the same turn the were boosted to 3 by the PTS

              • That's quite unlikely I think.. (as crawler production ended I doubt they could end also 2 CPs)

But if that's true, there must be 2 bases which ended CPs and then the base count is (34 + 2) / 3 = 12

                • Turns is in.
                  Nothing unexpected, however:
Morgan population is down to 32 (so they are building CPs)
                  Morgan now has Doctrine: Mobility
                  Spartans now have Industrial Economics
Why would Morgans want Doc: Mobility?

                    • The Spartans earlier claimed they didn't want Industrial Economics, and this makes sense since we were trading them IA. If they traded for it, either they decided they wanted to run FM (and eliminate their threat to us), or Morgan offered them enough besides the tech, or something else I can't guess.

However, despite some 5-6 turns of contact with Morgan, Spartans did not trade for IE, nor did Morgan for DM. There is soemthing happening. Could it be north/south polarisation, or are Spartans engaging in this trade as guise for their invasion of Morgan (I doubt they are THAT insane).

Not necessarily. The pop loss could have been due to the PTS jumping a couple of bases to size 3 before the base could sustain that size

                          • Plan of Action for 2147

We should pull back a spore launcher and mind worm to guard ourselves against a possible Spartan invasion (or unwelcome scouting party). A sensor network on our vulnerable flank is already under construction.

We need to start thinking about what SP to go for next, as we have an artifact waiting, and a few supply crawlers about, or in production.

We should start rec commons in several cities next turn, especially those most vulnerable to bureaucracy. We will have another 1 or 2 colony pods next turn, and we will have two more bases within the next 2 turns.

What do we research next? What's available? Do we care about the Angels' or Spartans' preferences?

I didn't even think anyone even saw the thread

As far as the next tech goes, I'd only consider the Spartan/Angel requests if they directly coinside with our needs.
