I have just checked the cost of:
Drop scout, 1^-1-1, 2 rows (16 minerals)
Drop-A-scout, 1^-<1>-1, 2 rows (16 minerals)
We can then ask Gaians to upgrade it to:
Clean-drop-scout, 1^-1-1, clean
and drop it back to our territory and turn over the control.
As Geo suggested, working on scouts here is cheap and faster. I am going to ask this Gaians, but finally:
We give Gaians:
drop+AAA
drop only
Where do we stand?
----------------
And to clear some things, I just checked if I could airdrop a unit into a pactmate base with air complex. Yes. no problems detected. I even simulated multiplayer game here. We can build aircomplexes alright

I did not have the time to look where exactly the coords are, but yes, just drop it in and we'll get you the clean drop former shortly thereafter.

Dear Spartans
Your recent proposal is equitable in any sence of the word.
The problem lies in that not all out bits and bytes are in agreement.
For this reason we will have to live each turn as it comes.

I would also not be willing to give Spartans that ability. No wonder choppers are not that good if you cannot attack bases.
So we need a rufasal letter, something so much sweet that they could not feel like an actual rejection.

I would give S nothing so that their military might is further reduced by Yang then if we help S.
Their is helping and their is cutting your own throat.
As far as the war I would start making stratigic air strikes on Yang while our units move into place.Last edited by ForesterSOF; August 29, 2005, 11:36.

am i the only one here that sees sparta as ''the bad guys'' im opposed to doing anything with them besides keeping up diplomatic pretenses. although if we can get something better than simply EC or some very good tech, i could support that...

With Yang having built quite a number of Aerospace complexes, the drop unit would only help to garrison captured bases or with a drop probe to mind control a yang base.
But I am not in favour of tech or unit exchange with Spartans.
And yes we may have to speed up our 'invasion of Yang plans.'
btw with our two foil probes we can steal Chaos and Doc: Ini from Yang and if the probes survive, maybe even mind control a base or two.Last edited by Hercules; August 29, 2005, 19:37.

One thing is sure, if we give them drop ability, their war with the Hive will be much more to their benefit then without. What do you think? We start our attack on the Hive a bit sooner?
Any comment from the Gaians? They have the turn now...
