bug: you can contact foreign leaders that have cities on a revealed part of your map, but they don't show up in your score metre until you make first contact from up close.

        bugs:

        * movement bonuses are not calculated correctly

-with Darius and golden era, bonus movement is calculated *before* turn starts. This means, if the golden era ends in a particular turn, your units as Darius will have e.g. 3 out of 2 movement points.
-policy extra movement points are not incorporated until the next turn. So if you have the commerce bonus, this does not take effect until the next turn, while it seems logical that it happens during the same turn.

        * war, cs alliance, defense agreements, and city-states:

-i'm not sure where the bug is here, but this is what happened:
I'm allied with Askia *during* his war with Egypt. This does not mean I go to war with Egypt at this point in time, as it only transpires for future wars. I'm allied with a particular CS. The CS is bought by Egypt during Egypt's turn. The CS goes to war with me (without declaring war!!). On top of that, I get a warning from Russia, which is apparently protecting my CS (lord knows why). I go to the CS's interface, and "make peace", which is possible. End of war during same turn. I have to apologize to Russia for being invaded by the CS which was my ally before Egypt bought it.

it gets better! Russia sent me a notice the next turn:

"It seems your word is nothing, as your conquest of Darius I shows. How despicable. The world will know of your crimes."

Apparently, I conquered myself. Might be some spiritual phase I went through. But I don't think so.

Sugar on top: Russia sends me another notice. She's terribly upset with me. My CS ally, which attacked me, and was under her protection (euh?), leads to a relation bunk. According to Russia, I attacked my CS ally...

This you have to explain. I annexed a city a few hours ago and changed production?

oh sorry, what i meant was this: if you click on a puppet city, and then use the arrow buttons to go to another city, you are prohibited in the normal city the same actions as with a puppet.

                          * production turns estimation incorrect in city mgr
example: building a bomber. have 284.99 production so far, out of 348. am producing at 82.5 per turn. city mgr indicates that it will take 2 turns. 284.99+82.5=more than 348

                          * aircraft indication does not move to new location with carrier in strategic view (only works in normal view)

                          * i can see aircraft stationed in enemy cities (and moving around) despite not having accurate recent information (bug, or feature perhaps?)

                          * CS that you never seen or heard of can declare war on you even though they have no clue where you are either. due to AI ally they declare war. 80 turns later you finally meet them and they're 'still' angry with you; only then can you 'make peace'. so you're being punished for something you have no control over.

my factory re-appeared after i found a new coal source, btw.

I'm guessing CS's see what th3eir ally sees, the same way civs see what the CS sees.

You should be able to contact the CS through the Score screen.

One tiny change could make this game so much better: have the game check if you have any units *within the same screen, as visible* that require moving or upgrading.

That way the camera doesn't zoom around the map all the time, for no obvious reason. And you can have multiple armies operate, without becoming frustrated.

Similarly, it would be good to group units together somehow. Take the example of warcraft: CTRL-x moves all units from group x to a position. The AI could help the process by always making sure that bombard-units are behind melee units.

bug/feature: upgrades go one-at-a-time; why can't a treb upgrade to an artillery directly if the money to do so is there? takes more than one turn this way.
minor bug: i just noticed i went from 4886 -> 4926 AD during one turn in the mongolian campaign.. timeline is probably messed up.
bug: since the last hotfix my civ5 app has crashed a number of times, but i can't seem to repeat the how and when. every time my monitors go black, come back at some point, civ5 reports it has crashed, and my video card application reports it has recuperated the video card from a software crash.
