Such ghost images seem to be from switching your location from the seam of the map (where east meets west). I experienced and verified it when trying a mapscript in which the seam was visible. I could remove the ghosts by clicking on the mini but not in a seam-overlapping position, then going back to where the ghosts were.

These are different from what I described though. In my case the phantom entities remained on the same position on the map. So the problem is not in the rendering, but in the data which is rendered. In my case a tile is still being marked as having a road and rendered like that although it doesn't have a road anymore (as can be seen in the tooltip). And also the AA unit is still being marked as being in that tile although I have upgraded and moved the unit elsewhere. Note however that only the icon is in place, not the model of the unit.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the occasional unit icon (sans its graphic) 'sticking' in a hex after its unit has moved or upgraded.

I noticed that the blue border that limits the rebase operation is not always drawn correctly. Here one can see that it stops at the coast and does not continue. Sometimes I'm not seeing it at all.

A couple things I noticed when I was playing this weekend:

            1. No sound. I have no idea why. All other games & stuff on the computer have sound. The sound options in Civ5 are not turned off. Yet CIV and only CIV has no sound. WTF?

            2. I had a city-state ally (Copenhagen). Another empire invades and conquers it. Later, I end up fighting that empire and capture (and annex) Copenhagen. Hundreds of turns later, another AI civ "notes my relationship with Copenhagen" and tells me to knock it off. This is *my city* he's talking about.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

On a few occasions, I have seen damaged AI naval units sit still in port or in friendly territory ... AND NOT HEAL, turn after turn after ....

Also, I have NEVER seen a barbarian unit heal, even 1 point. Poor barbs.

Can we get a new sticky thread for the new patch?
