    hi ,

, would in this case the game be responsable , or would it be due to a problem with the comp's sound system , ....

Sorry if this was mentioned already besides the post I made about it in another thread...

A problem I have is that whenever you start a 'Civ Content' scenario, regardless of it being biq or bix, the City View is gone as well as the Palace view isn't available. It's available in a regular game that you start, though. As far as I know it wasn't like this in PtW or Civ3.

I'm guessing that this has to be a bug.

Also, since when can you move through a friendly Civ's territory and get the benefits of their roads? Was this a change made that I never realized or what? A game I was playing in the Carthaginians were freely using the English's roads even when they had no rights of passage or that agreement to even be available to use. It looked like the Carthaginians even moved a few units through an English city. The only other reason I have to explain this is that I was using a bix file, not a biq file.
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

My first game froze repeatedly at 70 BC, just as the Mayas we're about to declare war on me (at least I think so, since they had moved five units into my territory.) I reloaded (several times) the saved game from two turns earlier and had the same result.

Anyone notice that net gold gain/loss isn't tracked properly? I never seem to have problems with it in the ancient age, but now in the late middle age with lots of deals going on, I'm supposed to be in the red by 30 or so gold per turn, but instead I'm gaining gold with no deals being broken, and no wars being AI being waged..

TechWins you are correct that loading a scenario that comes with C3C (content) will not provide an areial view selection. You can however zoom to the city and see the the city view. The city view is the place where you can shuffle citizens from tile to tile and set them to specialist.
Games started as "epic" games do have the areial view allowed.
I do not know if this is a bug, but I suspect they meant that. I know they did not add in the new wonder depictions in the areial view.

I've noticed the same thing. I think it's related to GPT payments. Incoming payments seem to be counted twice.

Has anyone had trouble with the intro video? My monitor doesn't like it for whatever reason and blacks out.
It's fine for the rest of the time.

Do you have a DX9 video card? Very few are, so check with the manufacture.

                    Minor bug.

Slave graphics are working for workers that I capture, but not for those I build in a city with 100% alien population. The produced worker/slave is correctly labeled as being of the civ the pop came from, but it looks like a worker native to me (civ original graphics).

They do display properly if the game is saved and reloaded.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

It's nice that they look different, but it would be nice if the right click unit list groups them into native and slaves by nationality.

vmxa1, areial view is what I meant to say not city view, however, the palace view still does not appear in scenario games. I don't understand the reasoning behind not allowing any sort of biq game to have the aerial view, and also, the palace view should be in any biq or bix game. My only thought is that it has to be a bug or an oversight on their part. I doubt not having the palace view not available in loaded biq scenario games was intended.

Can anyone comment on the second part of my first post?

I've created a world map and set all the starting locations. No matter what I do the Spanish starting location always switches out with another starting location. So far the Spanish have started in England, Japan and Saudi Arabia with the other Civ starting in Spain.

Now on my latest attempt the Spanish, Celts and Americans all switched starting locations.
