I can play hittites.
But i would rather have plat play them."Military training has three purposes: 1)To save ourselves from becoming subjects to others, 2)to win for our own city a possition of leadership, exercised for the benefit of others and 3)to exercise the rule of a master over those who deserve to be treated as slaves."-Aristotle, The Politics, Book VII

Can somebody post the turn sequence again?"Military training has three purposes: 1)To save ourselves from becoming subjects to others, 2)to win for our own city a possition of leadership, exercised for the benefit of others and 3)to exercise the rule of a master over those who deserve to be treated as slaves."-Aristotle, The Politics, Book VII

Back.
Sorry I was incommunicado. The dial-up was very spotty, and I just didn't have the time to babysit it through a session. Didn't really matter since I couldn't find my MGE disk to install Civ2 on the laptop. I know I dusted it off around March, but I seemed to have misplaced it since). Does anyone know if I use ToT for an MGE scenario, does it save in ToT format or MGE format? Or can I even do that? I found the original Civ2 disk and the ToT disk, but no MGE, so far.
Anyway, thanks for doing the Minoans, Pal. Nothing objectionable that I could see.
Did the Hittites: 4 huts, similar result to last 3330 attempt - 3 units, one tech. But these units were all purty white ones, not those ugly red ones . Gave the Assyrians another round of techs (the Wheel was the useful one, forget the other three...maybe the temple tech was one...), still looking for other neighbors...getting near the Egyptians, Babs and even Persians, I think.
You're up, Platy!Attached Files

As the Nubian horde gathers outside Heliopolis, the army hastily finishes building city walls, and recruits skirmishers from nearby towns to make a stand. The pirates have abandoned their attack on Tunis. The whole land waits.Attached Files
