I've played about 80 turns by which time I had 6 cities including Vile Runes (?) I like the new message when you capture Blue on the first turn. (BTW, have you removed the little puzzle at the beginning?)
Although there continues to be a seemingly unending stream of bad guys, they no longer commit suicide by pointless attacks. Or at least they do it a lot less. Instead they mill around a bit until I kill them. I'm not sure whether this is something you planned or just the AI being the AI.
There are a couple of points where you may wish to check that things are working the way you intended. I seemed to get a white dragon when I started researching rather than when I discovered the technology. Also, I got a second white dragon rather than a copper dragon.
The historian comes from discworld - some sort of time slip through a fissure in the space time continuum caused by a student party at UU?
When capturing an AI city, partisans take to the hills. I think of partisans as being a 20th century phenomomon. I suggest changing the message, or the unit name.
As I've mentioned before, units arrive in Blue apparently randomly - adventurers, legions and a mage so far. I couldn't see any connection with what I was researching. Some sort of message would be helpful - even a simple "reinforcements arrive" would be better than nothing. I know you are desparately short of space in the events file, but I'm confinced it would make the scenario easier to understand.
I find the units very confusing. There seem to be quite a few that don't serve much purpose. For example the militia. They are the only thing I can build after my cities have fortifications, but they're pretty useless. (Or am I missing something?)
I also find the tech tree difficult to follow. Barony seems a good first move, but after that what? Perhaps I should try for "envoys" and "families" as quickly as possible. I'm not sure.
I'm afraid that this scenario is too hard for me. I can't see a way to move forward with my current resources. All I can do is keep researching in the hope that something happens that I can exploit.
If you can't find any more event space to allow you to tell the story as the scenario progresses, perhaps you could put more in the introduction screen - eg "Sending envoys to tell of your success will attract refugees." and "As news of your conquests spread, adventurers will land in Blue seeking fortune (and fame).
I'm sure there is a really good story in here, but at the moment I'm not managing to tease it out.
Good luck,
