  • Curt those new medivalish castle towers are outstanding!! I can totally see them becoming the standard in any period city styles.

    • Cheers, chaps!

Here also are some medieval cities, if UDB needs any surplus...

      • Great cities Curt! I agree that the first Norse set looks to christian (with churches), but the latter is great!

Is UDB around, to give us the next update on this project?

              • I'm right here!

Those Norse cities are spectacular! They'll do nicely. Thanks tremendously, curtsibling!

As for an update, I'm still struggling with the civilization advances. I'm having some hard decisions to make.

Nonetheless, I should have that done by the weekend.

I've also got to readjust facing and shield placement on the units graphics file, or so Patine told me in a PM. Could I get some help with that, possibly?

                • Well, it's been a busy few days, and I've had little time to spare for Civ during them.

But now I hope to get going and finish both the advances and that frigging map!

Before I get deep into it, does anyone have any suggestions for good myth-era advances that aren't - well - obvious? Let me know.

I also can't praise the makers of these fine graphics enough, but I think I'm set, at least for now.

                  • use an elemental axle to group techs and units. Fire vs water, earth vs air & quintessence, the combination of these four. You could even add another quartet, life vs death and light vs darkness (or order vs chaos, good vs evil, you name it). Hope this makes sense.

                    • @tanelorn: Neat idea! I assume that'd be to replace the epoch and category of the advances.

@Anyone: I need some help. Apparently I have to have all units facing right in the Test of Time.

I currently have a bunch facing left or forward, and my feeble attempts to adjust facing led to damage to the unit graphics and artists' signatures.

Could someone PLEASE edit this file to get the facing right? I'd be eternally grateful.

                      Thank-you!

I have some ideas but it would help greatly if you could post what you have done so far.
