          • @curtsibling: Thanx, supremely. I do look forward to seeing what you come up with for icons for me, if you take this task on. I've looked at other icons by you - splendid stuff!

            I've essentially finished my tech tree, units, city improvements, governments, and Wonders in my rules text file. Now there's just commodities and terrain left. I have decided to dispense with alternate maps as I don't think I know enough to yet handle them.

            I hope soon to start with events and the actual scenario file.:

                • @curtsibling: Actually, the "Great Library" is in the Copernicus' Observatory slot, not it's native slot. The vanilla Great Library slot is vacant.

                  • @curtsibling: I hope you're not yet done those icons I'd asked for, as I'd like to request a wee change. Could I get a Stonehenge icon and improvement graphic instead of 'Enlightened Doctrines.' With ancient Celts as a player, how could I have forgotten it?

                    Also, I'm having a problem. All my Atlantean units and seige weapons show up fine on the map, but on the display on top, the civilopedia, and in the city screen have the 'v' below the hex area visibly pink with the signatures. They're still as posted on this thread by MacGalleo (what happened to him, anyways?) with his facing fix if anyone can please have a look.

                      Your unit problem is caused by the unit borders not being the right shade of purple.

                      Load up the vanilla units from the 'fantasy' or 'original' folder, and use the colour dropper.

                      Copy the purple colour and then paint-bucket the proper purple to your units file.

                      If you have major problems, email the units file to me and I will fix it.

                      • Have begun playtesting the scenario before adding events.

                        I plan each Gods Intervention tech to have an event for each player. Plus, Atlantis sinking on a random turn after a certain point - how do I set that? - and monsters and barbarians created.

                        Anything else I should cover? Ideas?

                            You'll still have a problem unless you place a single pixel of the second transparency colour in the top-left-hand corner of the unit 'cell'

                              • Well, you're both right in a sense. There is a 'right' shade of purple in the units file - and only in the units file. It has a 24-bit value of approximately #805080. You could have 3 transparent colours within each unit frame if you wanted: magenta, the 'right' purple, plus one you define yourself using the top left pixel. Either way, you guys would end up with the right result.
