    * Trade sent in the direction of the United States.

Could someone please open the Panama Canal ASAP so I can get some crucial trade towards America and Europe? And we would be very happy to learn the secret of the Republic .

Fearing the perhaps France has not yet stepped into its proper role in the world, L'Empereur appointed a political rival, up-and-coming Jacques Eglise, to be his premier. Eglise has made no secret of his desire to dump the Emperor and move to republican government. Eglise's first order of business was to create alliances with France's friend and neighbor, the newly-formed German Empire, and her former sister republic, the United States. Eglise also reprioritized industrial policy in the metropole and her colonies to emphasize shipping and port development for the time being.

The newly found Nation of Germany send greetings to all Nations.

As the youngest country in the Concert of Nations we feel we can bring many new and refreshing ideas to the world as well as use our strength and power gained from the unification to bring peace and stability to Europe.

The old structure of Germany with many little kingdoms always was a source for conflicts as all these little lords rivaled each other for supremacy instead putting their combined energy into a better direction.

Now with Germany unified we can assure you that the time for crisis is gone and a new area of stability will go around the world from the heart of Europe.

I dont know what you are doing or where, but those early cannons you get at the start of the scenario, suck.

I would n't plan any major offensives with them unless you mass them all and hope for the best.

And your infantry is good for garrison duty and thats about it.

In a month of stunning victories for the Second Empire, the Tricolor has been raised over two tribal capitals in Africa, as well as the cities of Casablanca and Manilla.

The spoils of these conquests have been used to fund increased trading throughout the empire.

France would like to request that the United States send her the Republic via civdip on her turn.

The German Kaiser would like to send his deepest congratulations to the French. Surely the inhabitants of these backward countries will be very grateful for being integrated into the French society. These people have much to learn but we're sure France is destined to bring the light of civilization into the darkness of Africa and Asia.

But the Germans were active too, in a stunning success a German expedition raised the Imperial flag over a backward tribal capital. The Kaiser decided to equip much more of this expeditions to aide France in their holy mission to civilize Africa.

                                Long live the Kaiser
