    Thessalonica stays put!
The capital at the time was Demetrias!
And my uni town is Larissa in Thessaly...

As for Corsica and Sardinia i am certain they have the objective status-there is no way we could have made so serious a mistake.
As i am currently away i must ask fairline to confirm this.
"Military training has three purposes: 1)To save ourselves from becoming subjects to others, 2)to win for our own city a possition of leadership, exercised for the benefit of others and 3)to exercise the rule of a master over those who deserve to be treated as slaves."-Aristotle, The Politics, Book VII

Trust me on this one - the cities on these islands are not labelled as objective cities. That's why I was initially confused about Hannibal's objectives to win the scenario.

It's an oversight anyone can make.

Even so, I am surprised by the total polish of this scenario as an initial release.

High_Flyer is correct: Aleria on Corsica and Olbia and Caralis on Sardinia are not objective cities.

It's easy enough to correct - I just went into Cheat mode and made those three cities as objective cities (bringing the total objectives from 16 to 19).

In addition I added three to the numbers needed for each level of victory.

For example: For a Decisive Victory I added 3 to the number required so that it will require 15 objectives rather than 12 for a DV.

Ok dudes just got back from uni and started working on this one.

Although more of a patch than a new version next release will include:

              1.Fixed objective cities(thanks High flyer)
              2.Extended readme
              3.Advice txt
4.Propably a new title screen courtesy of Sarsstock
              5.Multiplayer version
6.Minor event and gameplay tweaks. BTW i have managed to salvage an event slot. Anybody got an idea how could i utilise it?

Thing is that only No1 fix is of any importance.

                  Thanks dude.

Exams period?I knew i'd forgotten something....

The whole thing started as a sideshow of the "Vae Victis" scenario(you know, the Roman empire one) but evolved into a time consuming project that really drew me into. I did the research last summer and worked on it for months afterwards. The civilopaedia especially proved a Golgotha(sp?). Because of my "friendly" relation with Fairline(he was my bit_ch in jail) i asked him for a few units, he got interest and joined in.

BTW any gameplay comments Timo would be truly appreciated at this junction. No matter what the "patch" will be released monday at the latest.

                    Ok finished the update.
Will publish it before the weekend hopefully.

                    There are MAJOR gameplay changes.

1.Added a supply route to Spain(i.e supply train unit are created in Iberia) and removed one from Africa.
2.The Cannae legions make their reappearance a few years after the unfortunate battle.
                    3. Added another minor tech tree to the Romans.
4.The sun tzu wonder has been given to the Romans.
5.Scipio and his legions now make a direct dash for Carthago Nova instead of supposedly smashing their way through from Tarraco(they never even reached Carthagena in the previous version playtests).
6.Afte Capua is taken the Romans become ultra aggresive.
6.New corrected gfx for units(lithobolos) and techs.
7.Added Advice.txt, some missing civilopaedia entries and corrected more spelling errors.
                    8.Created html and powerpoint files.

                    some other stuff too.

Palailogos, as soon as you release the update, I'd like to upload it to the spanish site (if you agree, of course)

                        Didn't see this before either...

Two little notes... Can't you give the Balearic Isles a Latin name? I couldn't really find anything on cities of the era (only this site: http://www.magellannarfe.com/virtual...ania/baleares/), but perhaps "Insulae Baleares" will do.

Then again, I'd want Roman names for all cities, so Roma instead of Rome etc. So that's kinda just a matter of taste...

And the second note, couldn't you by any chance incorporate (the battle of) Lacus Trasimenus in there somewhere?

I converted it to ToT, by the way...

Sure... I haven't done any thorough checking, but at least it starts up correctly (the straight conversion crashed)... And the "Renaissance-bug" won't happen, because the scenario doesn't use the Invention tech.

I left out the city.txt, describe.txt, events.txt, pedia.txt, second punic war.txt, title.gif and all the documentation and sounds, because those files haven't changed (you'll have to copy them yourself).

And for anyone doing conversions themselves... I had to do some extra changes to the units.bmp (CivConverter misplaces the unit graphics), terrain1.bmp (CivConverter doesn't handle the 3 terrain graphics well, and more importantly, ToT does NOT like transparent terrain!) and labels.txt.
