  • Roman armies destroyed the remaining resistance in the Holy Shine City of Hindustan.
Julius Caesar looked over the ancient city with the impressive world wonders like the Pyramids, Stonehedge and the Holy Shrine of Hindustan. A beautiful ancient city filled with great culture and history. It would have been a city almost as beautiful as Rome itself, if not the former leaders of Hindustan would have ruled their nation with religiously extremism.

    Caesar was in doubt.
    Should he burn the city.
Or just occupie it and preserve it for the generation of the future.
Maybe the city could be rebuilt and be a part of the cultural world legacy.

The Roman armies entered the city.
The gates were opened for the Egyptian armies.
Before the fate of the city would finally be decided upon the city should be protected by all means.
Whatever thing would happen, the city could and should no be recaptured by the Hindustani.

    • Hindustan had disintegrated.

The Great Shrine had been captured - nations of the world note captured not destroyed - where has all that rhetoric about destroying the shrine gone? - Greed is too much for people that in the end they throw off their 'moral' cover and reveal the truth that they just want land and power.)

Without it and the martyrdom of the Great Conclave there was nothing holding it together. What would Hindustan be without Hinduism?

      • I am Vishnu the Preserver.

I represent the Hindu people of the mainland of the old Hindustan.

I have come to ask our conquers for peace and mercy.

Give us peace now, on the current military front line. This grants to our conquerers 10 great cities - a massive gain for them, and a loss to us which ensures that the Hindu people will never again be a power in our world.

We futher pledge peace towards our conquers.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the past - the world has changed. The old Hindustan is gone. You have gained 10 cities from your war. Give our land peace - give it to us now - for there has been enough bloodshed.

Much has been said about the foolishness of the Great Conclave, and their accusation that this war as in actual fact only about your desire for land and power. Prove that accusation wrong, and that you are true to your word that you were only trying to stop the Great Conclave using the Shrine for power, but now accepting peace.

You said we could live in peace if the possibility of a Hindu DV was gone. It has gone, if ever it were there. So show magnamity in victory and give us peace now. To simply continue conquering more cities would be inhumane.

        • Egypt always said that we do not destroy cities no matter how convenient it is, tough in this case we would had understand if others do it. That shrine was the casue the deaths of millions, including many egyptian sla.. citizen.
As for the war: Babylon has shown us that their "government" only offers martyrdom for their citizens.. death, nothing else. For the sake of the survivors we would rather see the Babylonian cities under a roman protectorate. Egypt did not fight for land, and we will not hold babylon's cities, but we will help free them. The great shrine itself and 2-3 border cities will be governed by Egypt the rest will have a better future with Rome.

          • My lord,

The Hindustan government is destroyed and no more.

You cannot decide to destroy the whole Hindu/Babylon nation. That would be an unmeasured act beyond decency. You declared aims have been achieved many times over. The world will expect you to settle for that.

              - Research Mass Media within 8 turns.
              - Give Freedom of religion to your people untill Mass Media has been researched.

              • Vishnu,

Augustus of Rome has been murdered by Hindustani spies.
Now you are dealing with Julius Caesar, his father. (Hah, some thought that Augustus was old!)

Hindustan has proven it's untrustable nature.
We will incorporate Hindustan into the Roman empire as an independant province.
We will allow you to govern the Roman province of Hindustani as a servant of me, the Emperor.
                How kind is that!?

                • Vishnu the Preserver,

We, Rome and Egypt, offer you the following terms for peace:

                  What you give:
                  - Give up the cities that encircle the Shrine City to Rome (Camulodunum, Borsippa, Gergovia, Bibracte, New Vienne )
                  - Hand over all your armies to Egypt except one defending army per city.
                  - Vow loyalty to Rome and Egypt, declare war on those nations that invade them
                  - Give all your surplus resources to Rome and Egypt
                  - Babylon will be a vassal state of Egypt and of Rome. You can not call independance for 40 turns
                  - You will finalize to research Mass Media within 10 turns

                  What you gain:
                  - Protection from Rome and Egypt
                  - We will supply you with all resources you need
                  - You get all cities back except those that encircle the Shrine City (Camulodunum, Borsippa, Gergovia, Bibracte, New Vienne)
                  - The right to ever again declare independance, with a delay of 20 turns after the declaration.

This is our only offer for Babylon to remain an independant state.
If you refuse to accept it we will rule Babylon with a puppet government directly under Roman rule.

                  • Those are our generous terms for peace.
We also add one more thing: Babylon should stop their spying spending on us.
Note we will not tolerate any trick from Babylon like what we had experienced from their previous government. So just to be absolutely precise we add these fine prints:
-Babylon can not gift/sell her resources just to get rid of the surplus.
-Babylon can not disband their armies instead of giving us

Any spy action against us which proves to be babylonian operation will be punished.
While Babylon is our vassal a mutual protection pact is in place.

                    • I did not move any units in Babylon's territory yet, giving some time to accept these terms. If no answer soon I either ask for a pause or will start next turn. there are 3-4 babylonain cities to fall.

I have reviewed the Babylonain army.. not much units left for sure,. These are the ones have to be handed over:
                      5 battleships
                      5 bombers
                      3 fighters
                      2 guided missiles
                      1 attack submarine
                      1 artillery

We wil not tkae anyore cities and will give back those not in the treaty.

                      • I ordered my troops to not kill any more of your units and not to take any more cities (I could had kill like 10 and take 3-4 cities). If you kill any of my units as response there will never be peace. Let's find a way out of this war.

                        • Desertlord and Juliu,

We recognise that your forces have maintained a form a truce to allow these negotiations, and have commanded our forces to do likewise over looking the opportunity to destroy your air force on the ground once again.

Your terms as stated are not acceptable.

Sadly both Egypt and Rome have proven themselves to be faithless and untrustworthy in the past.

Egypt made a peace treaty fifty years ago with Hindustan, involving the handing over of troops, which it then willfully and deliberately broke.
Rome just last year argued that words said just five years ago were not binding on it because its head of state has chanaged since.

Therefore, we have to maintain our own defence since it would simple madness, unreasonable and manifestly unreasonable, for us to trust you for our defence when, sadly, your world-wide reputation is that you show no qualms to break your words.

Thus we will not hand over troops to you.

We are also not prepared to become a piece of your war machine. Our destiny is peace, which you promised us. We happily accept the terms of loyalty to you in their vairous ways, but will not declare war on anyone.

Finally, we presume there is some mistake in your definiing Bibracte as in a ring around the Shrine. This city is seven tiles away from the Shrine beyond New Vienne. We accept your principle about the ring recognising your fear that the people of the Shrine will revolt against your disgusting rule and accept your need to hold the cities in that ring even though this means handing over to important cities you don't currently hold, receiving back ice villages the north. But Bibracte is by no logic part of that ring.

We are saddened that during the truce you bombed our cities killing women and children, and contrary to your public words moved major armies deep into Hindu territories, continuing your offensive, positioning troops in attack positions. Again this lack of good faith adds to the impossbility of us handing over troops to you.

The 'excess' troops involved, as you acknowledged, are tiny. It would not be in your interested to see all Hindu cities complete with every unit to be handed over willingly to one of your enemies - which can be achieved at will. Except of course, one distant island city, protected by your enemies, which could be the source of spies to overthrow your governments steadily every five years for the next century (you know we have the espionage networks to achieve this).

Your treaty, with these minor, reasonable changes, are a far better future for us all.

                          • Babylon's defense will be granted by us until the time we agree on. Bicrate is next to the shrine, and we ask for 6 cities instead of the offered 10.
We will not ask you to declare war anyone you don't want to.
Those troops must be handed over, it is not negotiable. You can keep all the defensive troops.
Egypt has no enemies-except the religious fanatics-, and how could you even talk about "hand over" your citizens like they were just a commodity.
Ofc my troops have advanced, we waited for your answer but we got nothing, we could not dismiss the possiblity that these peace talks are only for gaining time. And you too continued to draft more soldiers..
(And rome has kept this world, the evil shrine, represented by the apostolic palace has been destroyed-rendered ovbsolete by now owned a civ with mass media. We never talked about destroying a city)

                            • Vishnu,

You sound already more like the Messianic Warrior then the 'Preserver' of last year.
How can you call us untrustworthy and belittle our 'governamental change'?

Rome was true to it's word, till Hindustan killed Augustus and overtrown our government during times of peace.
Hindustan clearly wasn't prepared to abandon it's path to religious dominance, which was proven by these acts of terror.
I mourn the loss of my beloved child who died way too soon. No father should burry his own child.

The attack on Augustus was a declaration of war from Hindustan against Rome.
                              Then we counter-attacked.

So who are you, are you an honest leader, not like the Messianic Warrior and the conclave.
Or are you just another incarnation of religious fanatism?

                              Accept our proposal and live.
                              Or become a Roman province.

                              • I was thinking an other city for bicrate, it's not that close to the shrine, but it is important for us to reach the other cities and avoid cultural conflicts. It's a small city, if it's a deal breaker for you, I think we can agree on something, but I think this would be the best. (other options would require more cities or bigger ones from you)
