  • You're talking about 'faster', I'm talking about 'more'.
If your ships can transport more armies at the same time then my roads, then you are right.

Fortunately my roads are not blocked by enemy triremes.
But I'm happy to see that you're really enthusiastic about this war!

Actually Byzantium at home, you pay the extra support if you hesitate too much.

Btw we hope we can join the fun too soon. Right now it's peace and prosperity at home, our wokers started to dig holes recently, for 'biems' they say.. they have no idea what are those, but some heard a high priest saying something like 'I see biems'... what could those be??

Keep going my friend. Your words probably keep your vassal the Russian ever hopeful that one day they can win, so they continue to destroy themselves at your bidding while you grow ever stronger. Pillaging your roads through the woods is a far easier task for my horseborn marines than you blockading a whole coast - far from your shipyards and directly outside mine! I've admitted freely that for a turn or two the Russians will have naval superiority, before my main fleet arrives. But what good will it do you?

Go down to the stables my friend, you will find more straw there for you to clutch at. But then of course that might mean getting your hands dirty - when you much prefer to make weaker poorer nation who you oppress to do your dirty work for them!

            • My armies were still on their way to you when you gave in. There was never any form of hesitation, just a long road before they arrived.

Persia grows fat on the blood of its vassals.

Ha keep dreaming Persia I didn't give in you did. You wanted me to bow down to you and I refused and won. Don't try to make yourself think you ever beat me because you gave into my demands not the other way around.

We all know that in the end Byzantium will be pushed from our continent. I made the mistake to not send a huge army immediately but trust that Russia could pull it off alone.

Now I was forced to go into a war economy and push out a large army.
When it arrives Byzantium will obviously lose, they cannot hold their position on another continent. Their supply of new armies will fall short and the distance is too far. So in the end Byzantium will lose.

But at the cost of Russia,Byzantium and Persia (and all nations behind Byzantium) losing big money and time to build better infrastructures, etc.

                        But hey, it's fun!

So don't worry, Korea, the stalemate is only temporarily b/c it's not a fair stalemate. (not fair b/c Byzantium can't support the stalemate, it's too far from it's home)

In the meantime England and India grow larger and stronger.
at least now we know the truth of this fight.

Persia was behind it all the time and yet they been trading techs with Byzantine so therefore helping the russians be not able to attack.

                        Good work Persia...

Was Greece of last game a warmongering religious fanatic who is bent on taking over the world?
