yes, I am actually running windows or something.
And out of those two options I am running windows.
My original server was running on XP, this one (Jeroen's one) is on Vista.

I used to run on windows 2000 in the past.
I've ran a windows 98 server in the very past, but that one needed a manual reboot every day 8)
Apart from that reboot, things were running quite fine! Those were the days 8)

time to move to Windows 7 or set your server up with Windows Home Server

as far as servers go, windows still lack in a lot of very important areas.

Linux? No thanks. I have no knowledge at all about Linux.
Not to mention that it's working fine on Windows. This auto-restart thing is just an option I forgot to turn off.
And the crash would have happened under linux as well.

Windows 7 or home server?
Nah, this is good enough. Maybe I'll even go back to XP when I re-install my old server on a new harddisk. (that one is actually a better server performance wise, especially b/c of the RAM)
