Ok, it's clear that the enthousiasm to continue this game is very low.
Some people hoped that the game would end this turn, but it didn't.

I wish to continue this game till the end, I think it's what a game like this deserves. (and it sets a standard for future games!)

But others say that the game is tedious and boring for some (many?) players, which is a valid argument as well.

The game will most probably last another 13-15 turns.
What do we do:

1. Finish it till the end
2. End it now (call Rome the in-game winner and have a last voting round for the diplo-score)

I'll abstain for voting and accept the majority vote.
I hope everybody wants to do that.

Wow, most of the players who were bored with a tedious game where they were thousands of points behind the leaders renewed their interest in the game and worked together for a common goal that would allow them all to win this game and you pull off a cheap move denying them that and now you just want to scrap the game.

So fine, scrap the game, since all those loyal players who have continued to show up and play have been shown once more how irrelevant they are by a cheap move denying them their last chance for some bit of satisfaction after sticking around with this game for 14 months.

So yea, end it. To all those nations CS is referring to, I'm sorry. I tried, I did my best to give you a goal worth working for, but others just wanted to kill the game out of spite, so sorry. Hopefully this doesn't turn you off of diplogames forever. It IS possible for the small nations to actually matter and actually have an impact on the game... but I guess not this game. Once again, sorry for getting your hopes up.

seems like only player was going to get much out of finsihing the game with a religous vote and that was Metalheads. All others would have lost. Only incentive for them was to end the game, so ending Roberts way or your way is same result. Only difference was you were robbed the glory of in gmae victory.
