You're too nice to be strict Cyber.

Doesn't mean that the Greek guy doesn't shaft the rest of the World though. Real schizo!

    • No word from Toni
Well, continueing this game while the #2 civ isn't ran, while at war with the #3 is not really a good idea for the game in general either

Does anybody still have the phone nr of Toni?
I lost my sheet with phone numbers

      • You're right we wait but how long for?

Normally I'd say I will skip as well but can't do that this turn.

Must have very hard rules in next game over acceptable delay without notification.

          • If he was he should have told us.
I fear it's more something like connection troubles.
That's why I hope someone knows his phone number so that I can call/txt-msg him.

            • SORRY to all for not taking my turn!!! There is no excuse in not leaving at least a note in advance.

The truth is that I have started a new job and i have had barely the time to be home with my wife. Let alone log on to the game to take my turn. I fear that i will be missing turns. Jon please go ahead and do your thing, take your turns when you can and neglect my absence. I hate to be delaying the game, thus i will be trying my best to log on when i can to at least give some orders around.

              Sorry.

                • Good to know you're OK Toni.

OK, Mr. Plomp can you set the timer back on please.

What do we do about Celts and Yankees? Pause again or just keep moving?

                  • Jon, please pm* me when you're ready.
We're not going to pause the game for civs who aren't at war.

*I'll then receive an e-mail on my mobile phone and immediately be able to act while I'm watching '24' with my wife

                      • Hello all,

                        The game's up again.
From now on the game won't be paused anymore if players who are at war won't play their turn without notification.

We should finish this game instead of having those endless pauses.

                        Therefore from now:
Civs that are #1 in the turn order get 15 hours to play their turn.
When those 15 hours have passed the next players in the turn order are allowed to play their turn.

If any player at war can't play his turn he can ask for a delay!
                        This can be done in three ways;
                        1. post a message in the org thread (post when you can play as well!) [prefered option!]
                        2. send an e-mail or pm to me [mail address in your pm box]
                        3. if you can't access the internet send me a cell phone text message: [phone nr in your PM box]

Put that nr. in your cellphone, then you can use it if you're away from your computer.

I'll delay the game at most for 12 hours. If it'll take longer please find a sub yourself. Otherwise you'll just miss your turn. That's also a part of pitboss playing.

                        I hope you all understand.

                            • It depends on how you define a "nation".

                              Tribes, clans.... yes
                              City states ... maybe
                              BC states ... probably not
AD states ... almost certainly not
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila
