Which should happen sooner or later anyway, some serious war on your chicken-continent, instead of the usual "big guys punch the small guys" approach.

But we really need a solution here. I want to start the game today again.
Is there any other player who's in this game who can sub for the Khmer (who's not involved in the war in any way)

I dont really like the idea, temporary its fine, but Russia was involved in many wars in the past and -God forbid- He may get involved in more. (especially if we consider how the Russian diplomacy is working )
A nations like: Amerika, Wyandot, Spain, Maya would be more suited.

Taking over one of the most advanced/strongest civ is just asking for problems. btw I trust St Jon that He wouldnt abuse the situation and i wouldnt do that either- but still its better to avoid possible accusations.
(Before someone got some false assumption: I dont plan declaring on Russia (I'd never do ), but i still visionate a great war in the endgame -either that or we just watch a peacfull spaceship launch-but in case of war Khmer- and i can predict- every active players will be involved somehow, so we should find someone who has no other interests.

I'd do it - Deity did ask me if I would be prepared to if neither Ozzy or Cyber were.

I am neutral and have no axe to grind against either Portugal or Metalhead. However, I also do know Deity's wishes regarding policy and that would mean only war. Russia doesn't care who wins - she has her own babies to fry!

I would like someone with no interests at all but all those in-game have no interest anyway and an external sub looks like a non-starter apart from a possible Pinchak and he would be unlikely to have no interest.
