  • Marantos looked at Marcos. His face was masked. Strong eyes.
"Join us and fight for our noble cause!" Marcos said.
"I have a letter for you from Alexander" Marantos said, while putting his hand into his pocket to apparently grab this letter.

Then suddenly Marantos moved quickly, away from his guards while placing a knife against the neck of Marcos while unmasking him. "Don't move or Marantos will be dead" he said.

    Nobody moved. Tension....
The Mayan warriors aimed their guns at Marantos
Marantos whispered into Marantos ear: "Don't trust anyone! One moment you think you're in charge, a few seconds later you're the prisoner of a single soldier and your heavily armed people can't even protect you. I can kill you now"

    Marcos didnt move.
    No sounds.

"We are at war, but your men allowed me to bring a knife close to you."

    no reaction.

"This is your lucky day. If I would've been a Roman, you would be dead by now. Don't let yourself be mesmorized by their honey tongue. By now they most probbly already have flooded you with talkings. They will argue and discuss. They will accuse and talk about oath breaking. And when you're listening they put a spell on you. You fall asleep, and suddenly they grab you by the troath."

Then Marantos released Marcos and grabbed his hand, placed the knife in it and moved the hand to Marantos neck.

"Now you can kill me, if you want to, or listen to the message I have for you from Alexander. But before you decide I advise you to search the jungles around us for Roman spies."

    • Greetings Marcos!

I'm Sato Eisaku, ruler of Japan. As you may already know Japan is part of the Spartan empire so i understand if you don't take my words for facts, but i still tell you my version of history
      In short:
-Maya and Korea attacked Sparta. Sparta won this war but did not strike back, He demanded money for war reparations (1000g). The Korean goverment collapsed, the Mayans took control of korean cities
-Some times later, after Maya failed to pay this money Sparta declared the peace treaty void and decided to liberate Korea from the Mayans
-as soon as this war started the Romans used this opportunity and conquered the Mayan homeland.

So as you see 95% of the Mayan homeland is now in Roman and Russian hands.

Now Sparta and Rome at war . This is an escalation of a conflict between us and the Russians. You can read about what caused this war but by now it become something else: total war between big powers of Terra.

One thing for sure The mayan people suffers greatly from this war. The romans aggressively draft everyone be it a child or an old and use the civilians as living shield in the war, and the other side.. well they are fireing...

We don't want to fight with the Mayans. We didnt want to fight with the Romans either.

I know you are in a difficult position: none of the sides can guarantie fully your safety, none offers peace but war only.
My friendly advice for you to take only that offer which allows you to quit this war asap as you cant gain anything from it.
The world knows that the Roman occupation is unjustified and they may help you regain your cites.

      Sato

      PS
(I'm not sure this letter will find you, hoping the best)

      • Marcos starts laughing when Marantos takes of the mask.......

"You are as quick with your split tongue, as you are with your knife! Can't you see that I can't be killed, you're hunting a ghost.... there are already thousands of young men ready to take a mask and a pipe."

Marantos is clearly confused by Marcos his reaction, He wasn't trained for this...... He knows how to kill for money, but a man with a vision.

Marcos calmly puts down the knife and says

"Show me the letter Marantos..... "
"Give this man some Beaver Tabaco, So he might relax."

        • Marantos was confused. Not sure if his message came across.
But he had done what he was told to, and then recited the message he had learned by heart:

          Quote:
          "Mayan Rebels,

Sparta is willing to help you to bring the Mayan Empire back to it's former glory.
I will not write lengthy messages to you. Ask Rome if they will return all of Maya to the Maya. If they will then I advise you to take it. If not, then you are welcome to visit me in Sparta to make a plan to grab from the cold Roman hands what they refuse to give while they are still alive.
We will not wait for the outcome but continue to fight the Romans to push them out of Mayan territory.

The fact that you were lead by animals doesn't mean you are a zoo for all eternity.
Grab you future and embrace it. Let's bring the days of old back and let no strangers rule the Spartan/Mayan Peninsula.

          Maya for the Mayans!
But be aware that you'll have a foe in Sparta if you decide to join our arch enemy, the Romans.
You'll always have an enemy as a neighbour while your 'friend' will always be a sea away.

          Alexander

          • War report

The Roman invaders besieged Pierced Hill!

Japanese and Spartan soldiers gathered in the city to defend it at all cost. Let the world know that we are not afraid of the big tryant.

Marcus must know that there lived a famous roman general who used to say:
"Veni, Vidi, Vedo" (I came, I saw, I ran away)

This general died peacefully in old age. I wonder if your current generals will be wise enough to follow his example..

              • The Maya,

We will sign peace with you but we have some conditions.
Sparta has been betrayed and attacked by the Maya twice in the past. We care for our security. Therefore these conditions:

                - Sparta will supply you with resources and money to rebuild your nation
                - Sparta will liberate all Mayan cities conquered by the Romans and the Russians
                - Sparta will protect the Mayan Empire
                - Maya will join the Spartan Empire and accept the Spartan Emperor as the Maya Emperor, though within the Spartan Empire remains an independent nation like Japan and Korea.
                - Maya will supply Sparta with fish, crab, clam and rice resources to satisfy our ever increasing lust for fish.
                - Maya will hand over 1 Great Engineer to Sparta and General Marcos will join the Spartan army to help Sparta to liberate all Mayan cities
                - Sparta will supply the Maya with 2 Great Scientists in the future.

                Emperor Alexander

                  .

Conditions - which read more like a ultimata for surrender.

Free, equal and independent nation of the Maya, we salute you and our peace.

JAPANESE KILLING GAMES IN PIERCED HILL

Eye-Witness accounts of the Japanese occupation of Pierced Hill.

Japanese killings were so cruel, savage, their ways of killing are beyond human imagination. They took killing people as a game. For instance, once, Japanese invaders tied up more than one thousand refugees from several places in a square, and made them stand in rows. Some of them wore long robes, some wore suits, some were women, some were children, all bare-footed. Japanese first sprayed gasoline on their bodies, and then shot them with machine guns, a big fire set off whenever a person was shot. Dying refugees being shot and burnt, their bodies shivered in pain, it was a field of flickering flames. Japanese invaders laughed wildly, and took great pleasure in it.

Some Japanese soldiers took scores of refugees to a pond, forced them to take off their clothes and broke the ice to "catch fish", they froze to death immediately. Some resisted and were shot right at the spot, and then thrown into the pond. Japanese soldiers hung a young man for no reason at all with wire, and put dry wood below, bake him slowly. After half of his body burned black, the Japanese soldiers left, shouting wildly. One day, Japanese soldiers set a store on T’Per Avenue on fire and then forced the clerks to fight the fire. When people were fighting the fire, Japanese tied up some the clerks and threw them into the fire and burnt them alive. On another day, some Japanese soldiers tied the hands and feet of some refugees and threw them into a shallow pond, then the Japanese threw grenades, blood and flesh flew all over, the Japanese laughed wild. On another occasion, Japanese forced several hundred POWs to climb to the roof of the Department of Justice building, some knew they would definitely die, jumped off and died. Others climbed to the roof, Japanese then set fire from below, the POWs could not get down and cried painfully in the fire.

The brutal killing games like this, who knows how many have happened? Hundreds? Thousands? Above, are only listed a few of the instances.

Can anyone doubt now Russia’s just cause in seeking to defend the Piercians from these murderers from Japan?

                          • Roman armies flee from Korean territory

While being hunted down by Spartan tanks Roman infantry and artillery flees from Korea. A Roman attempt to occupy the Korean city of Visyava was a complete disaster for the Roman troops. Many units of infantry and artillery died, the left overs of the army fled from Korea back into Rome.

In the meanwhile new Spartan tanks keep arriving to Visyava. After the humiliating loss of the Spartan armies in Maya territory some said that this was the beginning of the end for Sparta. On contrary. Now Mayan Rome is being invaded once again by a huge Spartan army.

Rome made the (perhaps fatal) mistake to relocate 4 bombers to Piercia, now only 4 bombers are left over to fight Sparta on the Mayan/Korean border.
Rome tries to send reinforcements to Maya by transports, a risky operation on a sea dominated by Spartan battleships and destroyers.

                            • Marcus stood with his generals laughing at the lastest bit of Spartan propaganda.

"They really don't get it do they sir. You set them a trap of some infantry in the hills above the occupied Mayan city of Visyava. They take the bait, and dispatch tanks against them, losing many while meanwhile they fail to support the huge invasion army in Mayan lands which is completely anihilated. The bait withdraws and they still think its a victory!"

Marcus shook his head "perhaps my friend, though it is unlikely that even mad Alexander is that stupid. I think he now knows he fell for a trap but is just desparately trying to hide it from his people, and pretend that there has been a victory."

"But what about the bombers and ships, sir?"

"He can count aircraft, good for him. Just a shame he doesn't have any himself and can't shoot them down! And the transport - those pictures are from the sinking of a Roman transport ship years ago off the Russian coast. Remember, my friend, Alexander has only two skills - bullying and lying - no lets be fair, he can count bombers too!"
