Hail new leader of the Mayan Civilization,

For many years we are in a state of war.
Your predecessors have left the Mayan civilization in a ruined state. A failed nation.
From the moment your predecessors were about to invade the Spartan Gobi to the moment that Sparta announced a one sided cease fire, Mayan people died by Spartan bullets.

For many years the Mayan civilization was in state of anarchy.
There were no Mayan leaders I could discuss peace with. Our state of war continued.

Now you have been able to end the Mayan anarchy I write you to salute you.
Hail great leader of the Mayans, let's end this war.
Sparta is not your foe. While the Spartans battled you for self protection, the great conqueror from the north, Rome, grabbed the opportunity to invade you for shameless land grabbing.
While Spartan soldiers had mercy on your young armed men, the Romans were eager to kill them when they had just escaped from the south.
While Sparta never took any of your cities, Rome conquered about 95% of the Mayan empire and still occupies it.

You were not the first civilization to be almost annihilated by the Romans.
Russia, Piercia and Portugal have been invaded in the past by this most aggressive nation, and as we speak Roman forces invade Japanese territory to seize it.

Great Leader of the Maya, let's bury the hate between us and return to the old days long ago. Before your predecessors stabbed a knife in our (apparently very strong) back and invaded us together with the Koreans.
Let's revive the days of old when Maya, Korea and Sparta were friends.

I offer you peace under the following conditions:
- Sparta will supply you with resources and money to rebuild your nation
- Sparta will liberate all Mayan cities conquered by the Romans and the Russians
- Sparta will protect the Mayan Empire
- Maya will join the Spartan Empire and accept the Spartan Emperor as the Maya Emperor, though within the Spartan Empire remain an independent nation like Japan and Korea.
- Maya will supply Sparta with fish, crab, clam and rice resources to satisfy our ever increasing lust for fish.
- Maya will hand over 2 Great Generals and 1 Great Engineer to Sparta to help Sparta to fulfill the liberation of the Mayan Empire from the Romans
- Sparta will supply the Maya with 2 Great Scientists in the future.

Let's end this war now and focus on your real enemy!

I am pleased that our private diplomatic channels have already been at work bringing our nations together. However I am conscious that some among the Mayan might not be aware of those details and instead might hear the propoganda of the tyrant Alexander. Particularly of course those Mayan cities occupied by Spartan armies.

Therefore I feel obliged to point out the truth behind some of the worst elements of Alexander's propaganda.

Mayan people died by Spartan bullets.
- This is indeed true. Until the dying days of the old corrupt regime when it turned paranoid in accusing its friends of plotting war (the public record contains all of this), Rome had a long peace deal with the Mayan people which held secure throughout the previous terrible Sparta-Mayan war. Many Mayan people did indeed die by Spartan bullets, and then the peace treaty which finished that war was broken by the Spartans invading you once again.

While the Spartans battled you for self protection
- This statement says it all about Alexander’s trustworthiness. They invaded you with massed armies seizing multiple cities from you. Causing the collapse of Maya. I do not hide that fact that Rome indeed did seize Mayan territory from the old corrupt regieme. I would not insult you by pretending that it was for your own protection.

While Spartan soldiers had mercy on your young armed men, the Romans were eager to kill them when they had just escaped from the south.
- This is fantasy. The public record is clear of our letting multiple injured divisions leave the battlefried unmolested, and letting a great engineer and great general leave similiarly.

While Sparta never took any of your cities, Rome conquered about 95% of the Mayan empire and still occupies it.
- This is a lie. As you know well the Korean and Mayan people united at the end of the terrible Sparta-Mayan war. You are one people. And the Spartans seized much of your land. Once again I am not going to pretend about Roman actions in the past, believeing that our relationship now should be based on truth, even if at times embarrassing or unpalatable, not lies.

You might also want to note the huge army which Alexander personally dispatched to destroy Durango only a few years ago. If it were not for the Roman army and airforce protecting you, destroying the tyrants, I fear the RPG would have been pushed overseas. In the past Spartan rulers were noble, and even if at times enemies of Rome, we respected them. Sadly this current Alexander is a tyrant issuing ultimata to the Russians that they must had over land that the Spartans themselves agreed was Russian or their capitcal would be destroyed, exterminating the population of whole cities, and sending massed armies of tanks to destroy Durango. Indeed in the closing years of the old regime while Rome was offering peace, the Spartans issued their famous 'capitulate or die' demand to you.

- This is rather undermined by the fact that the Russians are my allies and it is Sparta who recently seized their capital, the Piercians were members of the Pax Romana (the Roman mutual defence pact of independent nations), we have had good relations with Portugal for millennia, and it was the Japanese who recently declared war on the Pax Romana, invading it with tanks supplied by the Spartans!

- He talks of a mythical past. Al the world knows that the Spartans invaded the Koreans in ancient time seizing Koreans mineral wealth and held the Koreans in subjection ever since. There was no stabbing in the back, just Maya standing up to the bully and acting to defend the Koreans (with their northern border secured by a peace with Rome).

Maya will join the Spartan Empire and accept the Spartan Emperor as the Maya Emperor, though within the Spartan Empire remain an independent nation like Japan and Korea.
- Alexander the fool reveals his true intentions. He intends to rule you – the Spartan Emperor being the Mayan Emperor. Japan and Korea are not independent! Korea has been exterminated by the Spartans – their cities occupied and their culture destroyed! And Japan is a vassal, never able to gain independence, forced to fight disastrous tyrannical wars for their masters which will only lead to hardship for the Japanese people. True independence is what the RPG should gain – indeed you have it now – don’t give it away.

Maya will supply Sparta with fish, crab, clam and rice resources to satisfy our ever increasing lust for fish.
- Due to the Spartan corporations these are incredible valuable to the Spartans. The Spartans should pay serious sums for these, instead they demand them for free – see what Spartan friendship means – vassalage to a master – not a relationship between equals.

Maya will hand over 2 Great Generals and 1 Great Engineer to Sparta to help Sparta to fulfill the liberation of the Mayan Empire from the Romans
- Sparta will supply the Maya with 2 Great Scientists in the future.
Notice how Sparta interprets trade among equals! The Great Generals and Great Engineer are of incredible value to Sparta, while they have and endless supply of Great Sceientists! And of course they demand that you pay now, and they may, perhaps, at some point in the future, pay you a smaller amount.

Marcos, my namesake, I am not going to pretend that Rome has always been Mayas closest friend. But I will always be honest with you, and treat you as an equal.

Courage to the RPG at this dark time of tyranny.

A Spartan marine warrior crouches through the Mayan jungles, looking for Marcos, leader of the rebellion force.



Suddenly the rebels uncover themselves. Marantos, the Spartan mariner is captured disarmed and undressed. Then the rebels bring him to Marcos.



When they arrive at the camp of the rebels, he receives some clothes and food and is being brought in front of Marcos.
