You are not going to do nothing about stopping this bloodbath against the Spanish people?

You are just going to let this pass, so you can act as the good big brother?

But instead you are trying now to sell my peace keeping forces us siege armies.

Well if you do not want me to advance any closer towards the Metal invaders, please do send your tanks to stop that advance so peace talks can starts.

It seems that your lust for blood is going to get you into mor trouble than you woul have ever imagined with your brazen attack on a peaceful nation that has never been any threat to you. So if you are willing to return my cities, then we will call it at that, but if not then you will be inviting things that are far greater than what you are capable of defending with my allies being able to defend me, while my empire will be on a war footing. Your morals are not like Xristo's. He made much of Portuguese honour in NOT spying on the Khmer despite maintaining high espionage spending.

But you sir have made three theft attempts of technology on my nation, one attempt succeeding in acquiring our Plastics tech. Can you not learn this yourself? What are you afraid of?

I thought we had come to some peaceful understandings and your secret and unannounced military actions to support Spain fly in the face of diplomacy.

The Metalhead State Department is issuing a travel advisory for all ROCKIN' citizens traveling abroad. Portugese cities, including New Portugal resort towns, are to be avoided as war seems imminent.

At last calm has returned to Russia. Her Citizens go about their daily affairs and their Children attend school. Yet despite this outward normality the recent events have left deep scars. There is also a deep sense of anxiety, yet also of hope, for the future as Russia prepares for a great leap forward.

My gratitude to Custos Marcus Aurelius of Rome for expediting the return of President Vladimirovich’s body to Novgorad. Though, obviously, he lay in state for the customary month the actual service itself was a small private family affair without great ceremony.

Foreign Minister Aleksandrovich has reported to me upon his return from Satricum that in fact no suspects have been apprehended. Custos, I urge you to re-double your efforts to root out the wrongdoers and return them to Russia. Under the revised Constitution being finalised here Detention without Trial will become illegal and Marshal Meretsokov will have to be released. I will lend you the aid of Russian Police if interrogation of ex-patriots is proving time consuming.

I need to write to you all to counter propoganda and rumours being spread.

For eons Spain has not been a cooperative member of the Meduian continent despite many efforts by her neighbours. For eons they fuelled the growth and technological advancement of foreign powers despite more advantageous offers and deals from Meduian nations.

Ultimately friction, tension and even war were inevitable between some Meduian nations and Spain.

Now firstly, after the Metals declared war on the equivalently powerfull Spain there was no announcement from Portugal AT ALL. It was the work of Khmer intelligence that uncovered the hastily prepared fleet of ships transporting MANY units to Spain.

Parallel to this the Khmer had made inroads in detailed discussions with Lars of the Metals to moderate their attacks and pull back whilst three cities had fallen.

An unease exists in Meduian as most member nations want Spanish blood. Khmer attempts to calm the way.

Once uncovered, Pantev announces suddenly and in a back handed and insulting way that this massive Portuguese army arriving in Spain this year is "just a peace keeping force".

Of course prior to this and not being able to trust Portugal, particularly after their theft of our Plastics technology, the Khmer loaned several Tanks to the Metals as a precaution. These will be immediately handed back to the Khmer IF PORTUGAL RETURNS MOST OF HER ARMIES. Perhaps a few peace keepers is acceptable however.

It is clear that Khmer's actions has stabilised the situation as the Metal armies hold their line. This would have been more reliably the case without the arrival of the Portuguese. In fact their arrival has more than anything else threatened the entire existence of Spain.

I don't know if Khmer can maintain diplomatic relations with Portugal since the Plastics theft so I seek an unbiased international moderator to aid diplomacy.

I could carry on and shout and threaten but I prefer to marshal the facts and maintain calmness and diplomatic poise.

So, it is a simple deal I present:

* Metals return Tanks as Portuguse leave

* Spain and the Metals are free to negotiate peace on the basis that Spain has suffered some losses

* The Metals will not advance any further and subject to the peace deals and without interference from the Khmer or other parties the Metals may return some territory in exchange for other things

Khmer you must be leaving in a parallel universe, may i ask when did the Metals announce their invasion. It was on the same cycle (turn) they declared war. Do you call an announcement made just hours prior an invasion a fair signal of hostilities?

Portugal has been clear allies with Spain for thousands of years, can't be more clear than this.

Pentev was enjoying Khmer's attempts to color up their Metal puppets. As some say for eons Khmer has had all the nations on their continent right in their small pocket.

It is very entertaining to watch how each nation on that continent has sold its sole to Khmer. All slaves from the beginning of time, no one dares to break free and pursue his own destiny. It saddens us that all civilizations there have decided to be leashed up by Khmer.

Still Portugal respects these decisions.

So Khmer blames Spain for deciding to trade with outsiders? Well we know what happened to the ones who didn't coorporate in the past. The Inca were destroyed and their lands sold to calm and silent the other nations there. Such a pity to watch one sucking to the only great power near by.

Clearly Portugal prefers all nations to suck off itself as nations on the other continent do. Surely all the world would be better off recognizing planet-wide rule by Portugal.

The Portugese are the worst form of hypocrites in the world today. They describe their shipments of tanks as "peace keepers" yet denounce Khmer's response to the shipment of these offensive weapons as deeping the war. Let none doubt that this war began as a conflict between two equals and it was Portugal who disturbed this balance with the delivery of advanced weapons of war.

The Khmer were wholly uninvolved prior to this Portugese action and are merely seeking to rebalance the sides.

If Portugal withdraws from this war, the Metalheads will refuse to accept all aid from the Khmer and will return all units received. This is the only way the world can step back from the brink.

Let us return balance to this conflict. Your reputation as a peace-maker, Pantev, is threatened by your aggressive actions. Please restore your good name by allowing Spain and the Metalheads to settle this conflict without outside meddling.

To Ozzy of the Metal People.

You forget one thing that Portugal hasn't aiding Spain in any form. We haven't given them our tanks and we haven't given them any financial aid. I will repeat again Portugal has only come to seek peace between you and Spain. This can be easily seen if one only needs to see what we call here at home the power graph. Unlike Khmer's graph which clearly shows the discrepancies when giving units to its slaves.

Still you make a very valid point here, you personally just said that you have been given units and tanks by Khmer. While we have come for peace your master is giving you ever more equipment for destruction. You need not to fear our present here, after all this is the land of our allies and we can be here. Now i can reassure you that one shot will not be fired upon you, but you need to start peace talks and not advance any more south.

If you have moved south more please do pull back there is nothing more to gain here. An advancement will only push me to act accordingly.

I will stand with my allies if you decide to continue this unjust war of aggression. Next time i ask that you both with Khmer read the meaning of an alliance and the obligations one has towards it.

Khmer's response to the Portugese troops was never concealed. One side in this conflict does not try to hide the truth. The truth is a large stack of Portugese tanks have landed in Spain and are rapidly approaching current Metalhead positions.

As the Metalheads are not equipped to survive a direct assault by the world's largest and most advanced super-power we appreciate the aid from the Khmer. We did not ask for nor were offered any aid against Spain, but if Portugal seeks to invade us, then yes, aid is appreciated to even the score. There seems to be little other way we can survive your aggressive "peace keeping".

Metalheads do not twist words or lie to the world. Portugese tanks are there for one purpose alone: to wage war. Not to keep the peace.

Again, if you have any desire for peace then your stack of tanks must withdraw. Khmer units will do likewise. Attacking Metalhead troops will only cast the world deeper into war.
