  • Great Sato of Japan,

There are two facts which you might want to bear in mind in your foreign policy:

    1. The Pax Romana - Wynadot, Russia and Rome - is an alliance of free, independent, nations. Nobody is forced to do anything. Unlike the Spartans with their 'capitulate or die' approach to smaller nations. You are under the boot of the world tyrant who breaks his oaths, issues ultimata to smaller nations demanding they give up large tracts of land, and exterminates the whole populations of cities - I am sorry but that does mean that other free nations will end up gathering against you.

    2. The cities to the west of Roman lands are Piercian cities. The people are Piercian. There may be an argument about the division of them between Japan and Russia, but they are not Japanese cities. They are Piercian.

I have twice offered you good terms for peace, recognising that the Spartan tyrant is driving the Japanese people to their destruction for Spartans own purposes. This is the Spartan way - using smaller countries for their purposes (ask the Koreans!) - while Rome expends its energy defending smaller countries (ask the Russians). Indeed you would do well to join the Pax Romana.

    Let us continue our negotiations.

Marcus Custos of Rome, true friend of the Japanese people.

    • The Roman people have a good nature. They don't have the "Capitulate or die" approach indeed. Ask the Mayans.

Then who are you to speak in their name? They did not say anything nor declared war on us.. I think they wouldnt had been happy if i had already marched my troops against their totally undefended cities...

They were Piercian.. once. Their union with japan was peacefull event with the agreement of both nations. The russians came just for greed.. they didnt liberate anyone-naturally because there were none to liberate- instead they used force to capture the cities, killed many Japan /ex-piercian in the process.

You should try harder. Giving up our cities and betraying our allies is not really acceptable atm.

My dear Sato, if you think that the same terms will be available when the Spartans have fled back home and the forces of the Pax Romana are rolling through your territory, expelling you from all Piercian land, you are sadly mistaken.

A wise man once said "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, because you did not recognise the time."

The whole of Piercia was once part of the Pax Romana, it seems as if will soon be once again.

To: Civilised Nations of the World
CC: Queen Alexandra the Coward of Greece, Sato Eisaku the Greek Quisling Governor of Japan

Russia celebrated the glorious recapture of her ancient Capital, Novgorad, against almost impossible odds. So much for Greek propaganda – Russia had to send Riflemen against modern Infantry! Russia owes a deep debt of gratitude to her Pax Romana Allies for their aid. At Novgorad it would have cost even more young Russian lives without Roman forces fighting shoulder to shoulder with her. The despicable crimes committed by the Greeks where obvious for all to see and made all Russia sick to its’ very stomach.

In the West, a swift raid was conducted on Pierced Harbour to rescue as many Piercian civilians as possible. Forces were then withdrawn for consolidation further North in conjunction with the brave Wyandot soldiers sent by her mighty friend Chief Tarhe. Greek Tanks are too powerful for mere Rifle to face in small numbers but Russia will return! Know that, Sato the Sadist Whelp, that Pierced Harbour would have been razed had it been a Japanese City! Know that, despicable betrayer of Treaties, you now have Russia as an eternal enemy and that until the very last vermin of your vile nation has met their fate Russia will not rest! No negotiations will be entertained with a yapping puppy that needs only the Vet to castrate it to quieten it! The death of all Japan is Russia’s only single demand. Russia will not rest until all the corrupt, twisters, Treaty breakers and double-dealers of Nippon have met their rightful fate; that fate lies only in the graveyard!

Alexandra, you have shown that you prefer to share your bedchamber with dogs rather than the impotent men of Greece. It is scant surprising that the greatest she-dog in the entire World should choose a bedfellow of the same species for company, but why such a puny little mongrel rather than a pedigree hound? You prefer a whippet over a greyhound?

Yes we know this.. and those who did not belive us can hear it from your mouth at last.. Now they understand why we had to capitulate to Sparta and why cant we let you terrorize our citizens any further..

Your agressive assimilation attempt, culture pressing and spy acions left us with no other choice.

And still.. we dont want to kill the Russians.. we just want them to go home and pray that they will have honorable leaders in the future.

We know that that's the only goal for Russia.
That's why we started this war. You never made a secret about your future plans, and living Japanese or Spartans citizen were not a part of your future.

Fortunately for Russia Sparta and Japan do know what honour and mercy is.
Remember when Sparta invaded Russia, we did not raze Novograd. And I am still happy that we did not. Sparta and Japan are civilized nations.

                  • Alexander,

You really should give up since nobody believes you.

You break your oaths, invade Russia, capturing its capital and other cities, burn other cities to the ground, exterminate civilians, and then when the Russians express anger and hatred, you try to pretend that some how they are at fault for being angry!

Given what you have done I am not surprised the Russians are not warm towards peace. What you have done has united all of our continent against you! The Spanish will also never forget your betrayal - saying that you were sending ships to defend them, then in fact attacking the very people who has actually deployed forces to help them.

Our continent was at peace. You have destroyed that. You will reap what you have sown.

As for your daughter. The Russians are not alone in searching for some new leader of the Spartans to talk to. You clearly have no interest in the peace of our world, of the future of the Spartan people, and your policies will be the final betrayal of the Japanese.

There have been so many changes of ruler recently in Sparta. We all hope that there will be another before the people of Japan, Korea and Sparta who cower under your dominion have paid too greater price for your unnatural lusts.

                        • Once a self-appointed friend of mine told me this after our nice treaty was signed: "...it will be Japan, not Russia, that is forced into breaking our Treaty! When that happens, it is a 'when' not an 'if' for sheer desperation will drive you there, Russia will squash you like an ant..."

Well, what can I say.. Russia!: You did it!... You succeed!... Well done! At least in the first part...

You managed to force us into a war by your actions. And I'm not suprised that Rome joined you: He always waited for the opportunity to increase their influence even more...
                          Let's see:
Vassalized Spain? I Remember Rome once said that they dont belive in vassalage.. it was around the time when Pax romana was born-Rome is clearly not the same as it was then.

Conquered the Mayans? For what? Because you felt threatened? the world strongest nation? But even then: nothing justify the total occupation of their land.

You, Rome blindly ignoring our reasons, denying our right to defend ourselves from Russia's insults and covert attacks. Very well.. I know your reasons.. But I'm truly disgusted by your cowardice: that you manipulate and force other nations into this war...
The Spain? I havent heard a word from them but don't think they want this war at all
The Wyandots? You declared war on us in their name.. when did they made you emperor of the whole continent? I was not invited for the ceremony.. anyway: I rather showed mercy on them and did not sent my tank against their cities.. by now they would have one less... Hope they can make clear what they really want or just admit they are too the vassal's of Rome.

What we wanted is to free our cities and crush the Russians' spying capability. In the latter we made a great succes: we located the russian scotland yard and spy academy in the captured Pierced Hill.

About freeing our cities.. well Rome modern army is occupying them right now.. i fear much blood will be shed for them.. maybe too much.. and peace seems really far away...

                          • An overview of the war between Sparta and Rome.
These are only those armies both Sparta and Rome are aware of.
Rome most probably has some bombers and infantry in Tunica.
I can for obvious reasons not comment about other Spartan armies.

This period tanks from Visyava destroyed 6 Roman infantry units and then pulled back to the south west of Visyava.
One Spartan cannon was destroyed in the process.
In Guardalarja is a level-3 medic (Great General) stationed (explorer).
One of the Spartan Machine Gunners east of Guardalarja is also a level-3 medic (Great General).

In the inner sea are multiple Spartan destroyers and battleships located and also some Roman battleships.
Spartan ships are damaged a lot by Roman bombers.

Slightly north of Visyava there was a Roman fortress located which was already razed by the Spartans.
This fortress was built recently after the Romans conquered almost all of Maya.

East of Durango (Mayan city) a mountain chain starts that follows the Roman/Spartan border till west of Verona. There's a small pass northeast of Wonsan, which is heavily guarded by Roman armies.

Fortress!!!! It was a city full of women and children, defenceless because the Spartans were our friends, swore allies, supposedly sailing to Spain to help the overrun spanish. And then the Spartan tanks rolled in, crushing to death all those who did not escape to the hills.

I called you Medieval Alexander, because you declared war over nothing but ancient Russian insults. But that is unfair to the great medieval rulers of Sparta. Your actions prove you nothing but an oath breaker and a barbarian.

                              (OOC - cool map though)

                              • So, cannot attack b/c of ancient insults (ancient = 30 years old)
but when I end an ancient (80 years old) peace treaty I'm an oath breaker.

Sparta never vowed to not ever declare war on Russia again.
Russia provoked this war and got what it wanted: a chance to annihilate the Japanese.

Rome'd better tone down it's insane accusations and focus on war because they're defenitely not winning there.
But like a wise Spartan Scientist once said: "Those who have no chance on the battlefield try their luck on the corners of the street"
