Rome: you can login and then just unpause the game. (same counts for other players! pause it again when you're done, till Rome has played it's turn)

Thanks Cyber. I got in an basically played my turn, but then was thrown out again. Not sure why - could be a problem on my end I guess. Anyway I'm content that I had done all I needed to so I'm not going to try to get back in - so I'm all finished thanks, don't worry that i haven't ended turn.

I was checking the time till next move and I see I've changed my name back to CivIV default Peter!

Does this mean I've given control to the AI in error?

If so permission sought to log back in, in time of war, to correct this or I won't be able to play my turn before the AI does?

I don't thin'k you're AI, but I'm fine with you logging in again.
You were the last to play your turn anyway.

I know this has been delayed but I wanted to say this anyways. I wish to apologize to all
of you for what I did. It was wrong and I know that now. I have accepted my
banishment and do not blame any of you for any of it. I would also like to add that I have
not created any new accounts. All I had done was change the name of my existing
account (which was done prior to what happened). So there is no need to attack
innocent people who just started a new thread at the wrong place and wrong time.
Lastly, contrary to what many believe I am not the original Jap player and though I do
not expect any of you to believe anything I have said I do hope that you all accept my
apology.

I'd have to say something similar, although I can probably get away without a sub, since I'll be able to login via a laptop occasionally.

Either way, I suggest we either lengthen the turn timer for the Easter break, or pause the game all together, to accommodate the people who might want to take a holiday.

Any of us in the West could sub for MMC but I cannot see how anyone 'in game' can sub for Portugal as they neighbour just about all of us. If a good OOG sub cannot be found then it's got to be a pause or a very slow clock indeed. Also Portugal is subbing for Spain so that makes it even more difficult. Take one sh1t good sub to keep those babes going!

R.S. Thankyou for your apology. I may protest very loudly at the time but I don't hold grudges against anyone, not quite true but never over a game, and would happily play you again. The addition of a total newbie as Japan just goes to prove that the 'game' is bigger than any single incident. So hope to see you again!

BTW This 'game' must be F***ING HUGE to take the number incidents its' had!
