I had already mentally given up this game, which is why I was not concerned too much about missing a few turns the past weekend. I did say on occasion around the time when Persia got divided up that I did not like what was happening and that the game should have finished right there and then, but there were many calls to continue for the sake of continuing, so I did, even though I wanted this experience to stop due to all the rules that were broken in previous turns

I don't see why the game should have ended back then.
Especially not since we are now having this interesting end game.
The demise of Piercia was defenitely not the best part of this game, but Japan and Russia got the pieces of Piercia. It id not harm the balance of the game, I think.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

I can tweak it now and then to make sure that new turns start more or less the same moment of the day every day.
Let's try it for a while.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

OK i tried a couple of more times no luck here. The reason for this seems to be the different setup of the net in this hotel i am staying at.
I will be back home and able to resume my turn taking tomorrow.
To equal this miss turn I ask Khmer to not move anything against me next turn. This will allow me to take my turn and put things back to normal.
