Yes I am here now - and can play my Rome turn now, and take over Spain. Would need to be now rather than an hours time.

You brought the dog pile on yourself. It started as a war between two well matched nations who were entirely comparible in tech, production, score, and all the rest. But after that war began, the unquestionably largest superpowers in the game both decided to join the same side and fight against me.
So I guess the remaining Meduian nations were a bit upset over the Roman-Portugese dogpile. I can't blame them. Now deal with the mess you made.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

2. Not true about the dog pile though. As far as I can see Portugal isn't even at war with you at all. When I took Spain as a vassal I took no offensive action against you at all, and tried to negotiate peace. You know that measure war concept. Take a few cities and negotiate. Rome didn't dogpile agianst you - it did exactly what we all said should have happened in the case of Maya - someone coming into support the weaker nation, to force a reasonable peace. Gains for the victor but not destruction to the loser.
But, such is life, I guess.

I am opposed to wiping out Spain!
Like I was opposed to wipe out Maya!
Having said that, players should be willing to negotiate peace. I am sure that Rome will be reasonable to negotiate peace on behalf of Spain.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Sparta/Japan declared war on Russia.
Please don't login right now (I'm in).
Best turn order: Sparta/Japan first, then Russia.
Russia moved last past turn.
Russia, can you wait to play your turn till Japan moves? If that's technically impossible then it's ok, I guess.

Thanks for this. Spain is in a bit of bother but has strong friends and is a vassal to the number one civ, Rome.
Have fun!
