Beyond the Pit [Pitboss Diplomacy Game] [Story Thread] Part 2 (September)
What does this have to do with Japan balking a Greek deal with Korea/Maya? And with Japan settling a Korea/Maya claim backed by Greece?
He disputed you having any real legal claim. From what I understand he was supposed to get something for confirming that as Greek land, he didn't so the deal was void.
[ooc]Rome keep your repsonses IC in story to this incident.
Unless Japan calls for help you wont even know about the incident, at present i am ignoring it as neither side has posted anything to say anything happeneing.

I don't really understand what I did wrong, In Character.
Japan and Sparta disputed a piece of territory.
Sparta had a claim on in.
IC-wise there's nothing wrong with, as far as I know.
Of course the land never officially was Spartan, but that's what wars and disputes are for.
And since it wasn't Sparta that started the dispute, I don't see what I did wrong.
But maybe we need an OOC fight about every in-game war every time. I don't hope so though. I really tried to be ok to Japan and I never had the intention to crush them or cripple them.
OOC: I had no real problem except the way Japan was being talked bout. IC Japan feels because it is small and unable to defend its self everyone tires to take advantage of it. So IC Japanese is and will continue to be very testy. It has been more of a matter of pride then anything else. And by the way I never had any real intent on fighting the Greeks. I know I am allot of things but stupid is not one of them.
Imperial Minister Hae Mosu had been pouring over documents from Japan all month long. They were quite simple, the first missive from Japan (entitled "in your hands") basically argued the Japanese point of view and asked the Koreans to stay out of the situation. Hae considered this, and reminded the Japanese that it was a Korean claim they intended on settling, and that men who claim to admire honor should not break their agreements, and should certainly not ask the Koreans, who claimed the land (backed by Greece) to stay out of an affair that directly involved them. In response the Japanese asked that Hae "watch his tone." Hae Mosu was awaiting the envoy of General Jumong, dispatched to Seoul to crush the worker uprising. In the meantime, he continued his role as the Imperial Minister; conducting foreign affairs and administering the city of Pyongyang.
"Minister Hae" a messenger said, interrupting the minister from reading the latest diplomatic missives to Korea from both the Spartans and Maya, "A new message has arrived from the Japanese."
"Please, set it down, I am quite busy at the moment." Hae responded.
"Word has also arrived from Seoul, the uprising has been defeated, General Jumong is making haste back to Pyongyang as we speak." the messenger said.
"Very good" Hae said, handing him a satchel of gold "You have done well."
When the messenger left Hae picked up the latest Japanese reply, it had an ominous seal with a black dragon's head upon it;
You insolent fool! How dare you continue to disrespect us! I am warning you do not keep testing me.
"Insolent fool?" Hae said to himself, "Not a very diplomatic way to address a foreign official." he laughed. That was all the message said, Hae considered it quite immature to waste the time of a messenger with such a quaint, trivial, and useless message.
Hae placed the message down and decided to ignore it until Jumong returned with further instructions.

Esther was so confident, she didn't even think about her crimes being one day revealed. What she didn't know was that General Kalimah was no naive woman. She had instructed a young spy to keep a close eye from the shadows on Esther.
The eye was still there. The spy witnessed every movement and word from both murders. But she still hadn't revealed her presence until this day. She knew that she had to become very influent in order to be believed.
That she would achieve by becoming an important member of the air caste. In fact, her skills allowed her to become the master of the spy sub-caste and to become the teacher of Piercia's best spys. She founded the Per'Shi'Ar ; Persian Order of Intelligence and settled down in Pierced Hill. There she would wait for the return of the soon-to-be Emperor and try to explain the situation.
the next day all the Governors of the provinces were gathered and were discussing the next ruler. They planned to announce Harry as the next Despot. Albert listened intently.
Just as the governors appeared to make thier decision and move to make a vote, Albert stood
"Governors of Oldonian provinces, it is so challenging to hear you speak together of annointing Harry in place of Davros. You really misunderstand the reason for this meeting. I called you here today not to vote on a leader, but to announce that leadership shall now be passed from Father to Son only as the Great One has commanded, I overthrow this paganistic ritual of governors voting.
I have had the Elders do a genealogy search to find the closest link to the old Princes of Oldonia and guess what, I am one of their descendants.
So by the blessings of the Elders and the great One i do hereeby declare that the Oldonian Monarchy starts with me.
Any protests gentlemen."
The governors rose in one accord
Never wil lwe accept this they shouted together
"I am sorry you feel that way, as my swordsmen are loyal to only their king not the governors. GUARDS"
From behind the pillars appeared the guards, they slew all the govenors then bowed to their king
King ALbert had begun his reign. He jsut had to keep this hidden from davros down in the bowels of the Palace
Prince Harry sat with his entourage in the Province of Eastern Oldonia, he wasenjoying this trip. He enjoyed the lavish feasts every province threw him.
He was drinking much Oldonian ale.
As he staggered back to his room for the night, a shadow emerged from the alley and a knife went to Harrys heart.
The Oldonian ambasseder to the Great Meeting was dead.!!!
The newly appointed governor of gateway was Reginald Ham. He had been personaly selcted by King Albert to establish Gateway as the trading centre for all nations to meet at.
His first job was overseeing the completion of the jobs that the previous governor had been given.
The canal from West to East was finished 6 motnhs early and allowed the OSS Voyager to pass through unimpeded. Large celebrations were held as the Galley passed through the canal
Once this was completed, The governor made plans for a huge feast.
The Mayans had been seen entering the province and the King had ordered them to be treated as royal guests. King Albert himself was on his way to officialy greet them.
The MAyans had known the Koreasn for a long time so it ws hoped the soldeirs arrving would speak Korean well as it was the language the Oldonians used freely to speak to southern tribes they had not met.
An offiical parade was organised for the triumphant Axemen after removing the barb terror from the south, and the MAyans were to be follwoing the Oldonian troops through.
