In the south the marhc continued. They had left the main southern highway and continued due south. To their backs the Great Mountains and the Great Forrest.

They had been told to make camp once the found the coast and to await reinforcments to join them.

Ahead lay many miles of more marching through the winters worst rain fall in the history of the region.

Harold hummed a marching tune to take his mind of what lay ahead.

In the East a large celbration was being planned. The final miles of the Wyandot highway were almost complete.

Finally trade would be open between the two blood brother nations.

Unfortunaly as they neared cmpletion, word arrived that Barnarians had destroyed part of Section 2 back West.

The workers would need to return home again.

And if they want this Empire to be a monotheistic one, so be it. I do not believe, i know. And i know that if you don't train your chamans in respecting the jewish believes, your kind will soon be extinct. And this would really be a pitty, wouldn't it ?

While the Great Chaman left, the convoy continued towards Meeting. Asiz adressed the Spartan emissary :

" At least you know now, who is in command here.", he said laughing " As you can see, the Emperor leads our people, and is always concerned about our wellbeing. It is a great honor to me to have been chosen for this charge. The next Emperor is chosen by the oldest child of the current one. The child may choose to be Emperor himself, but this never happened so far. I intend to review this system in a not too distant future. During her regency in my absence, my wife instored what we call the caste system. It is much like your system of different social categorys. However, we don't place any caste over another. We know that all work together for the greater good. There is the fire caste, the one of the warriors, the air caste, the one of the messengers, the water caste, the one of the thinkers, the earth caste, the one of the builders and the ethereal caste, the one of the leaders. Currently, we are making some changes in our empire for allowing religious customs to be usefull in organizing greater constructions.
Our lands are mostly covered with jungles, and my people are very proud of their survival in here. Many are taken by the jungles every year, but we think that this only makes the survivors stronger. We are no warseeking culture, but personal accomplishments on the battlefield are among the most respected achievements in our culture.
As you may have noticed, there are religious tensions within the Empire. I have decided to embrace the belives of the East known as judaism, for my Empire. But many are still attached to the believes of the Old, reviering spirits that came down to my people from the skies in ancient times, blessing our leaders with great gifts and abilities. I have to confess that i have come to believe that there may be some truth in those legends, but the jews are just becoming way to numerous for ignoring them any longer.

The ship struck shore on the far side of the Inland Sea.

The captain recalled ancient tales of Men with MEtal through their ears.

They were known as the Pierced Ones.


The Captain called for the Diplomat below decks to be woken.

And so the Western nation met the Middle East.

The time had arrived Annei was now at the age to

rightfully take the throne as Emperor of Japan. He along

with his new wife Inahime took the long journey back to

Kyoto. After 2 weeks at sea he reached the port city of

Ino. Ino had not changed much with the exception of all

the cottages that had gone up. The group rested there

for a night then continued down the road to Kyoto.

In the Kai area Takeda forces were amassing to attack

the capital. The Takeda were a powerful clan lead by

Shingen Takeda, a proud and powerful man who wish

to test his might against the best in the land. Compared

to the Imperial army's only attack force the Takeda out

numbered them 3 to 1. Knowing a fight with the Takeda

could not be helped Kenshin Uesugi gathered his troops

and road off to cut the enemy. The stage was now set

and the battle of Kawanakajima was about to unfold. If

Kenshinfs forces could not hold off the Takeda there

would be no one left to stop them.




The battle raged on no one side gaining an advantage.

Though the Uesugi troops were out numbered their

skills and weapons were more then a match for the

Takeda forces. Knowing the battle could not be won if it

continued like this Shingen took his main forces and

retreated back into the Kai area leaving one of his

commanders to stay and be a shield for the main force

to escape. The remaining Takeda forces were all killed

by the Uesugi forces, Kenshin know this would not be

the end so to make an example of what happens to

those who go against Japan he ordered all the bodies

of the fallen Takeda be impaled and place at the foot of

mount Fuji for all to see. They cut out the eyes, cut off

the ears, cut out the tongs, and sowed the moths shut

then left this sign around their necks.

Annie reached Honnoji castle where he was to rule
from. The first thing he did was call for Kenshin. A few
hours later Kenshin showed up. Annei looked at him
and began to speak. It is a pleasure to see you
again. I will cut to the chase, you are much older now
and I cannot completely trust in your abilities as
shogun. As of now the power of the Shogunate will be
given to Yoshikazu Ashikaga. He is younger and I can
trust he will not try to stage any a revolt just to try and
gain more power.

See my friend I know it was you who staged the
attack then framed the Oldonians and nearly caused us
to go to war with them. You know we were not ready
economically to produce the troops needed to go to
war. But I forgive you my old friend for that was your
only misdoing. Now leave me go to the cottages in Ino
and live in peace. And if you try something like this
again I will personally kill you.

Kenshin was angry and stormed out of the room
saying, You will not Live long enough to regret this
you fool. I will destroy you! He got all Uesugi
supporters to revolt but it was useless. Annei already
had troops loyal to the Emperor stationed and even the
majority of Kenshin’s own troops defected. The revolt in
all lasted only one day and no one was hurt. Kenshin
Uesugi the 1st Daimyo of the Great Uesugi clan then
committed seppuku along with his tops commanders.

What in manner of all Rus is going on here!?

Pitr the Everlasting, now deceased was buried some time back and his son Mikhail had taken over daily business after a period of some uncertainty. But for some reason, even with clever leadership, the Rus were not developing well, enough.


"There's not much more room Lord Mikhail, and we seem unable to grow past a certain size before our people get all upset and very cranky."

-What you mean, cranky? Just whip them again, that should be makink them smile.

"Certainly my Lord, but they seem to get even more cranky from that."

-It was not like this in my father's days I tell you! He would whip his slavs all day and they would come askink him to whip again before bedtime. Now look at them. Complacent citydwellers the lot. And not a single successful merchant among them. We are not makink enough MONEY!!! Is there any way of makink more people become rich? We need gold.

The diplomat returned to the ship and the captain could tell imeediatly he was not happy

Things didnt go well my friend he asked

No, the pierced ones will not trade. They want to see our troops stationed in the city of meeting before they will talk

but we are busy fighting barbarians back home and every few centuries the danger ofthe japanese raises its head, how do we spare troops to go to a meeting. They wont talk to the diplomats but they will talk to soldiers, what sort of nation is this

Dear northern friends,

we are glad to hear that travel among our lands will be even easier as before.

We hope that the roman organisators will declare the meeting in Meeting open soon, so that debates may begin.

We bring a message from our Korean friends; they are bringing a delegation to meeting. they had no other way to inform you about their progress except through the Spartan delegation.
They hope to arrive by ship shortly.

Unfortunalty Oldonia is still busy. No spare units to send. If the meeting city was coastal we could sail our ship to it.

We still do not understand why the meeting needs Troops to be presnet.

Our ambassader is ready to start discussions, but apparently he is not included as a representaive at the meeting. only Soldiers are.

We are very puzzled by this.

By the way Maya is on the way there too, but they seem to not realsie what roads are for and are wandering aimlessly around our territory on anything but the roads.
