  • Well, I agreed to peace, and return of the worker. No boarder agreements.

I did this because I realized that above all I should have aluded to a possible attack via the story post ahead of time. I respect this format and don't want to contribute to eroding it to the point of a standard MP game.

HOWEVER, I will hold fast that I broke no rule concerning a double move BECAUSE NO RULE WAS EVER AGREED UPON.

This should be addressed at this time so this sort of thing doesn't become an issue in the future.

    • The double turn rule was never ratified, true. But almost everyone agreed that it was bad form and to avoid it wherever possible.

OH, so after i cave-in we now call it "bad form". Interesting, it was being called cheating just a few posts ago.

Weird, the ebb and flow of what is allowed and what is not.

              • Ozzy, in favor of what?

I think most people were already in agreeance that there should be a double move rule.

We never decided an exact time frame or conditions.

                • If you want my opinion I vote no. I have watch you fight and I have come to the conclusion that those who cave in and call it a quits when things become bad do not deserve to live. I don’t care why this fight started but the fact is that no one that isn't on the continent they are on should interfere even if one starts to cry like a little b**ch. none of you have any right to say what another civ can or can not do until your civ has met one of the other civs. You want to be fair then stay out of the affairs of other civs till you meet them in the game. I also demand that if anything like this ever happens again only those who have met the civ fighting may be involved and that we under no circumstance during war ever restart from a saved spot. If a civ is getting it's a** kicked then too bad either send your own military force to help or let then die like men.

Well if you agree we already decided on no double moves, why the big fuss? Why are you maintaining you did no wrong? Because we never agreed on specifics on how exactly we would prevent people from double moving?

                    Pssh.

this is not the DIPLO way that is the Standard Civ way.

DIPLO means we monitor everything we can to make the game continue to be fun.

                      • This is not the diplo it is a dictatorship. This game is ruled by a few players who I don’t have to say their names but they know who they are. We are all subject to what only small handfuls want. If this is truly diplo where are the other players? Should we not all be involved or is it the opinion of the "pros" that matters? I for one do not want to be subject by what other civs who I have yet to meet think. I will not rest until my people are free from the tyranny that is happening here.

Leaving it open without defined perameters allows it to be deemed "ok" (or bad form) in one situation, and cheating in another. On top of that, how does one with honest intentions decide when to make his second move so as not to be accused of cheating if we never defined what a double move is?

Unless of course keeping it nice and vauge is intended.

I know a little something about how the "pros" win on a consistant basis. I don't have time now, but I am blowing the cover on this **** so new players are not caught off guard.

Back in HOTW7 I wondered why Levi had such bloodlust for you Ozzy, why he would flush his civ down the toilet just so you couldn't win. I now understand.

The jig is up. I'm letting the cat out of the bag.
