I don't think he reads much the forums, maybe set next turn to 16hrs timer CS. See what he says. If again he feels that isn't enough go 18... 20 etc :B:

In all fairness though Celts, that's usually the way things are decided in Diplogames. Unfortunately.
Although, I was one of those people whining, and I think we should keep the timer shorter than 24 hours."Our cause is in the hands of fate. We can not guarantee success. But we can do something better; we can deserve it." -John Adams

18 hrs makes more sense than 16 simply because it's easier to work in blocks of 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 of a day (12, 6, or 3 hrs), so 18 is halfway between 12 hrs and the full 24.
That should keep everyone happy. Except me, who seems to be clicking refresh on the CivStats site every 15 minutes wanting another turn.
Oh well, CivRev takes away a few hours (especially when I'm trying to get all 4 possible victories on the same turn... Managed to get three at once, so far)

Oh, and whoever poked their head into the BeyondThePit channel of PolyChat, I was afk, but you did get the right channel. Try choosing a more descriptive name than "Pitboss" next time though.Ceeforee v0.1 - The Unofficial Civ 4 Editor -= Something no Civ Modder should ever be without =- Last Updated: 27/03/2009

Oh, and I have been reading the forums. I have noticed that the Wyandots have been mentioned in the thread a couple of times...but by folks within the game that I have not met yet, so see no reason to believe that they actually exist at present.
So - STOP whining Pitboss Vikings! And if you feel the need to do so, please keep my nation out of the whine.

I got a message saying I need a registered version, so i supposed i may not be read.

That message is because the javachat software that Polychat uses is unregistered. Basically it'll spam you every now and again, but you can ignore it. It's just MarkG or DanQ not paying the bills again.
EDIT: If you use Opera or Firefox, then you can use them instead of the javachat. Opera has the chat built-in, just goto irc://apolyton.net:6667 and it'll auto connect you. Firefox needs the free Chatzilla plugin and then it should be able to handle that link the same way.
EDIT2: Hummm... Opera doesn't want to auto-connect, but it is possible to use it. You just need to do it manually. See here for more info.Last edited by MMC; July 24, 2008, 08:48.Ceeforee v0.1 - The Unofficial Civ 4 Editor -= Something no Civ Modder should ever be without =- Last Updated: 27/03/2009
