Deity just advanced the turn for the first time. He had been holding it till now. There is no turn timer so the game will not advance until all players have done their turn. So the AI will not play France's turn.

Also, perhaps just e-mail yourself (via your plomp mail) any deals, plans, or instructions for France so your sub will see it

    My e-mail is: alex....a....t.....oneandfour.org

    Thanks.

I just logged in and it shows an OOS error too. Should I bother to play my turn? Or will all the changes be lost anyhow?

Heraclitus - I was just pulling your leg. No probs on honouring this deal.

Thanks for the coin toss, Oz. I will go with 4.

Also, just connected to the game very smoothly with no problems. Also, civstats is working just fine as well.

      • No out of sync?

That's good at least. I wonder what the deal is with Deity and I... hmm..

        • I took my turn last night without any out of sync errors. I think it is good to go. Only Russia and I have taken our turns so far. With the exception of Holland, who has to wait for Mongolia to move first, I say we get moving people.

          Game on!

I have some good news, I may be able to turn starting late sunday evening CET for about a week, that should be enough time for us to find permsub for France. I won't have time for intricate diplomacy. great wars or more than one story post, so I'll have to ask the players if they agree to this to treat France like it was handled by a slightly smarter AI.

I'm proposing this so you can start getting turns done, without getting three new civs in the game through stupid AI decisions. A permsub however must be found. Ideally one would be found before Sunday eliminating the akward "don't interact with France" period.

Unless you want me to manually edit the save and risk turning into the digital equivalent of Swiss cheese, there is no way to add any sort of timer to a game which does not have one to begin with.

A permsub has already been found. He is logging in right now to poke around. Please E-MAIL me login info for your e-mail, MSN, and forum accounts so I can pass them on to your sub. The only thing causing a "don't interact with France" period is the lack of passwords for the French communication tools. So SEND THEM OVER.

Edit: the new France has logged in and played his turn. Just waiting on Mali, Inca, Holland and Ottomans. Lets go people.

                    • And just to be perfectly clear, since the topic seems to have come up in the other game. If you are at war you have to move all your units before the next person in line does. If Mongolia moves and finishes his turn, then Holland moves, Mongolia can't go back because he forgot to move a unit. Too late, wait till next turn.

Personally I don't have a problem with logging in to adjust city builds or other details like that. But no unit moving.

Oh, I didn't know you already found somebody, is there anoter org thread I don't know about? In any case this is good news for diplo 2 games up and running

The password to my civ is the same as the password to my anon forum handle. I don't recall my MSN password but I will try to dig it up for the sake of the game...

                        • It was said several times in this thread. Keep up. Also in case you missed it we also have confirmed players for Russia and Ottomans as well.

Also, there is apparently no password for your civ, cause the sub was able to login and finish the turn no problem. What we need is:

                          - Anon forum password
                          - Anon diplo mail login/pass
                          - Anon MSN login/pass
