Anyhow where are the results 24h are long over, we should be getting ready to vote on session 2...

And also, there's no reason there is a 24 hour time limit on voting. That's ridiculous.

It should be days rather than hours.

my idea was that we would vote in the 24 hours before session start. that should be enough time to compose a short e-mail of votes and justifications. the reason I suggested that time period is because
1. it allows people to take all the posts of the week into consideration. even those made after wednesday
2. people vote on the stories after last session instead of the session after a week of stories. that way, more focus on stories and less on the heated blood of newly passed turns.

the reason I set down 24 hours is because I wanted people to not tarry too long and forget about it. for all I care we can start voting on friday, giving a good 2 days of time. but if someone posts saturday those who voted friday won't be taking that into consideration, for obvious reasons. so, the way I figured I could whip you distracted dilly-dalliers into action was by setting down a strict and effective time limit.

24 hours before session start should be acceptable. if you feel the need to vote before that, go ahead. the reason I said 24 hours max after, is because after the session begins, that session and its following posts should be weighed in the next vote. it gives you a 51 hour window total, 24 before game start, 3 hours of game, and 24 hours after. if you really can't vote in the 24 hours before game start, do it the day before. or the day before that. just keep in mind that you may be missing out on some latecoming story posts and developments.

and Heraclitus. you're not going to see the scores. until the end of the game. for again, fairly obvious reasons. if you're not in agreement that they're obvious, then please check out my elaboration and explanation a few posts back.

Looks like Cyber has changed the mail engine from Lotus Notes to Java?!

I had to install Java. Did everyone get this?

Weird stuff happening in plomp mail.

It seems to be Java now and several of my messages show as empty in my sent mailbox. They had lots in them!

Anything going on? And did anyone receive any blank messages?

I preferred the Lotus Notes client BTW.

So I have to get Java? I don't know anything about computers so I'd appreciate it if in the future someone told me about these things.

I've just been using the PM service here on Apolyton for most of my private notices, although I think we should refrain from doing everything in private. Otherwise how are we supposed to know what's going on?

If I may drop a msg here,
I receive votes from people (not from everyone though)

two issues:
- I get complains that some people have no diplomatic activities in public, so it''s hard to vote on that. May I suggest htat people shine a small light about their secret diplomacy in public at least? Or hint at it. Don't keep everything in the dark.

- I got the question if one can vote for himself.

When I check your mail, everything is there.
Maybe you must change some settings?

Do you have a notes client? I can give you an ID, then you can use the client mailbox
