what can i say, i'm very disappointed, with the ppl i play we have a word for this and its a quitter. So what CT somebody burns your shoes and u quit, nice.

Nah I know CT has other stuff to do on his trip, but it is kinda convient for him that now he doesn't have to put up with a slow game in a bad spot...

I tried to talk CT out of it but to no avail.

This really screws up the game in many ways, including brilliant behind the scenes diploing by CT).

Plus hes the best host.

He said he'd take responsibility for lining up a decent sub for us though, so that's good...

MMC being replaced by an AI had a lot to do with it. I made the final call to go on without him. It's my responsibility. He has a bad internet connection. There is no blame. I just lost interest in the outcome of the game after that.

Anywho, I will do my best to find you guys a sub. After that, my obligation is fulfilled.

I will still follow this game closely and I may even continue to write story posts in the thread as time permits, with the collaboration of my sub of course.

@ CT: Im not sure if this matters, but I was asked and agreed to take England over due to MMC's connection issues. So it wouldnt be AI at all, with the exception of last session. I would honor MMC's instructions initially and probably gradually implement the things I think would be best for England over time.

Hopefully, that will change your mind. If not, good luck and enjoy Thailand! Ive been there twice and loved it. Both times in Bangkok for business, but I had weekends to explore. Ayutthaya was especially nice, reminded me of a Mortal Combat setting

@Cyber: Your statement backs up the idea that RL obligations take precedence over the game, although your reason is far more significant and shorter than mine. Let me the first to say, Congratulations, CyberShy.

@Glohithia: I think you and I will get along famously, whether I continue to play this game or not. However, it would set a bad precedent for me to come back now. If I gave in to any offers, people wouldn't take me seriously the next time I want to quit. Also, if I take your offer, it looks like I wanted something in order to stay. That would make me a terrorist. I don't want anyone to think I was demanding anything, so I must stand by my descision to leave gracefully. After all, it is better to be labeled a quitter than a terrorist. Anywho, as long as I find you guys a sub, I'm under no obligation to continue playing the game.

Anyone remember Sagat from Street Fighter II? He was from Thailand. Glo, have you seen Muay Thai?

@CT - it isn't like you made a threat and we caved in because of it. Glohithia was going to play England regardless, so we aren't doing anything different. It wouldn't make you a terrorist, just someone who is confused and misguided. Don't quit a game this good because of pride. Lets keep going.
