    • You should add lil ol me as one of the players on your list of player from the USA. Fortunately I have no time restrictions so I can start whenever and play as long as the group wishes to play.

BTW, can someone educate a stupid American in what UTC time is? I know what GMT is, and I know the American time zones, but UTC is one I have not heard of before.

        • Here is a website for conversion. Basically, UTC -6 hours is equal to my time (Central Standard Time now). It was UTC -5 hours when I was in Central Daylight Time.

Which brings me to my problem. I work until 4:30pm CST, which is 22:30 UTC. Our Start Time. That wasnt a problem when I was in Daylight Savings Time, as we started at 5:30pm locally for me. So if we continue to play at the same time in UTC, I will be an hour late.

          • From what i have seen we tend to start more like 11:00 UTC our game. So Glohithia 25-30 mins late is not a problem u just need to hot join once u get home.

                • We play till 4am so you shouldn't complain :P

                  IMPORTANT
Do we install the patch or not?
I'll have an patched and an unpatched version ready myself.

(If you patch: please use the normal in-game patch! If you use the 'less legal' version we may have difficulties to start the game because of different versions! )

                  • Im not sure about the patch. First, I dont know where to get it. Second, things have run really good the last few sessions, so I see little need to change things up.

                    • I think you can download it from inside the game.

                        • It would be best if we patch from next week, this coming session we should stay with the vanilla version. Because I fear people will start patching right before we start and this will delay our game start.

                            • Note: old save file from version 200 wont load in version 208. Atleast my pbem`s dont and I assume same with pitboss, and direct ip. I am now running both versions.

I just had Canuck Soldier do a remote control of my computer...he uninstalled warlords,(leaving saves and mods),.......reinstalled, which is old version v200. Then
he copied whole warlords folder to new folder named warlords 208...........then patched it. Now I have two desktop short cuts one for v200 one for v208.

Ok I just tried to load save from v200 using v208, it worked ok.........so if everbody is patched we can use v208. I have play a few games in the muliplayer lobby, and v208 seems alot better with connection issues. I played 3 games, no drops.
