I am not available earlier than 1pm EST, so I can be part of a game with Marcus a max period of 90 mins based on his schedule. I think there are some existing games that do not include Marcus we can play for the rest of the time.

The Late Classical Era got off to a bad start for the Chosen of Osiris and Isis. In spite of sharing the bonds of common Faith, the ravening hordes of the Incan nation (Heretics all) fell upon Memphis and tore down its walls. They then turned their greedy eye upon the city of Elephantine. Things were staring to look grim for the people of Egypt, but Ramasses finally saw sense and threw himself upon Incan mercy. In a fit of compassion (s******, snort) the Incan nation gave the Egyptians peace as well as the much depleted city of Memphis. The dawn of the Middle Ages-coupled with their prior humiliation at the hands of foreigners-inspired a Militant and Ultranationalist streak within the Egyptian people. In a desperate bid for "Breathing Space", the Egyptians dispatched an expeditionary force to eliminate the Indian city which had grown up on their Eastern Borders-threatening to choke off future access to sugar and beef supplies further out. To their great suprise the heathen barbarian tribes eliminated it for them, and the hopes for future expansion looked bright. Ever gluttons for punishment, however, the Indians established a new city-Hyderabad-on the ruins of the old. This insult could not be borne, and the Egyptians struck immediately, raising the abominable little village to the ground. This drew an immediate Indian response, but one mocked by the now mighty Egyptian nation. Safe behind the walls of Heliopolis, they watched as the Indian 'army' threw its forces into pitched battle against the city walls, whilst Egyptian soldiers pitched large rocks on the forces below. When it looked as though Indian morale was at its lowest, the Royal Men-at-arms, backed by a contingent of longbowmen, decimated the invaders and pushed them back into their own territory. The moment of peace was short-lived, however, as the Indians regrouped and came back into the fray, this time bringing huge mounted beasts-of-war and siege weapons in their arsenal. Still the walls of Heliopolis stood strong, and the pitifal forces of India were once again driven back in a route. True, certain harsh measures were neccessitated by the war, such as the reimplimentation of slavery and the drafting of citizens into the "crossbow militia". News of the war, however, also reached the ears of the great Lysander-Nekher-Khat, who came from Thebes to personally lead the Armies of the Great God Osiris, his consort Isis and their chosen on Earth-the Pharoah Ramesses. Ever one for Kindness and Wisdom, however, Pharoah dispatched a messenger from Thebes to negotiate peace with the Heathen Indians. When the people of Heliopolis saw another large army, with a 6' armour plated behemoth at their head, bearing the head of their messenger on the spike atop an Indian War Banner, it was clear that the petition for peace had been utterly rejected. Another bloody battle took place before the walls of Heliopolis-perhaps the most hotly contested piece of land in the entire world-but it was brought to a swift end when, already previously wounded by a stray catapult-cast, the Indian general was personally slain by the mighty Lysander. With their mighty general's head in Lysander's hand, the spirit quickly fled the Indian army-followed quickly by literal flight back to the Indian homeland. Barely a week later, and with Egyptian forces already mobilised to strike their weakened opponent, a messenger arrived bearing a petition for peace from the Indian people. In all things, the Pharoah is always wise and merciful, and he saw no wisdom in continued war with this pathetic peoples-not whilst news of new lands and conquests beckoned from over the sea. Therefore he accepted the proffered peace but, tempering mercy with ruthless pragmatism, he made sure the acceptance was sent to the Indian Potentate between the teeth of the messenger's Severed Head!

OK, like last week I will need to be out of the house by around 1 or 1:30 PM my time. That means that if we play our usual game, I would prefer a 10am Central Time start. If not then it will just have to be in the New Year .

I cannot be there early enough to be worth including marcus in a game with me, so it looks like unfortunately the fulll group cannot play, but can others post as it may be possible to play or resume a different game.

I always turn up on the agreed time (1pm) without fail - usually much earlier. I'll post if I CAN'T make it.

And the slotted game is an Aussie game at 1pm. The Rah games with 9 players are useless as one session games (not continued). It only gets interesting as people leave. With fewer players it may work though.

Trev posted early Sunday morning - many may not have logged in. But it would be nice to get a bit of an availability update from everyone particularly with Xmas looming.

I actually posted on Friday first with a followup post on Sunday, the reason being that the previous week, there were not enough players available and as it gets closer to xmas the odds players are available usually diminishes, so it would have been nice for people to respond in some way. I am sorry that Frank missed out, but people need to communicate their availability better.
Next Sunday I will not be available to play, but will available a lot from the 28th till the 1st Jan. I would appreciae if other people could give an idea of their availability for games during that period.

I am not sure how much I will be available on the 28th now, but from the 29th to the 2nd I will generally be available to play, can players please give a negative or positive response please to the possibility of a game, so far only deity has responded, games cannot be organized on one respondent.
