I'm fine with skipping.
Ozzy is a quiet important person for the current war.
If he has a sub, that's fine with me as well, though this sub should really know what he must do, so Ozzy should pretty good inform and instruct him.

Let's officially skip next week (this USA Friday) and if we get a catch up session going between now and Friday week all the better, otherwise we wait till then. However if enough of us are online to test the save before then, that's good.

I think we should wait for ozzy in this case. It's delicate tioming so all agree on skipping this week, which means the backup game shouid be OK to go assuming Nicoda, lz, cyber and dragon are free? I'm free.

Back in action!

Alright everyone, I think now is as good a time as any to start talking about what we have to do to get this game going again. You know; tie up some loose ends.

I think the first thing we should do is get a roll call from everyone to make sure they are going to (a) be there, and (b) reading this thread for updates.

So I am ready to play this week.

Another issue I think we should rehash to make sure we are all on the same page is the issue of the patch; apparently they have released patch 1.61, so I guess my first question would be whether or not we have this finalized version or just the beta? If it is the finalized version we need does that mean we should just download it normally through the Multiplayer section of the game?

Second issue that wasn't addressed was the save file. I think the one we used in the past session was corrupted, and there was talk of using the save from before, or an autosave of some sort. I feel that this is the more important of the issues we are facing leading up to the game, and we should at least try and test it for errors.

So we've got some things to take care of before the session. Some posts would help to I think to refresh the diplomacy.

I am able to play Friday.

I had a versioning problem last week and finally had to reinstall the game from scratch and did the autopatch. 1.61

Please advise re resuming the game. I think someone is on holiday this Friday... or is it next. ??

I won't be available friday next week though.

We can play the 'beta' 1.61, since that's exact the same patch as has been released.

We play 22:30 UTC, like last week?
I can play for 4 hours from 22:30 UTC on.

We should use the auto-save file that I have posted already, deity has it, so we can use that file.
Besides that: we only crashed once, that doesn't mean that the savefile is corrupt. Perhaps something else failed, just once.

I think we'll be able to figure it out.
