For me, saturday is not a good day to play. But you can play without me.

I can't play on Saturday, unless it is earlier in the day for me, like maybe 1 pm until 4 pm, but that's about it.

Listen; I don't think we should allow skipped or changed session times because of absences anymore. From now on we should get subs, I know it sucks to think about at this juncture but it makes it a lot easier, and doesn't really ruin the game.

I've been in plenty of Diplogames, and there are always subs. I'm going to need a sub at some point, and so will everybody else, so it isn't really a big deal. Even if there is a war.

So with that said, I think we should first figure out how many people are able to play on the day of the game. By my count is was around seven confirmations. Maybe eight. But that is plenty, that means we only really need one or two subs. That shouldn't be much of a problem.

I advise the group to stick with the original game schedule, and if you have to be absent plan on getting a sub in line from now on.

What do you guys think?

I am definitely still game for the regular time slot. And I will be online and ready to play then regardless. I'm trying to line up a sub for Kuno.

Totally agree with this. Stick to regular timeslot and play with subs if necessary. (Not keen on the Sat slot but would play the backup game then sometimes)

So if Kuno is OK about a sub let's see if he has a preferred choice first.

Yes, UTC is GMT without daylight savings.
Thus I suggest to start one hour earlier then 2 weeks ago.

I don't know what this is all about but what I do know is that I can play today after I get home from work, which is after 22:00 UTC (it'd probably take me about 30 min to get home) so that is 22:30 - 23:00 UTC.
I'm sorry, but it's impossible for me to do it any earlier than that, unless, of course, you start without me...

Regarding saturday (and weekends for that matter) any time before 01:00 UTC is very difficult for me as weekends are regarded by my psycho wife as exclusive for the family, at least while my kids are awake.

So, I'll be online hopefully from 22:30 either for this game or the backup game.

When I joined the diplo group, I mentioned that I was a tourney director for the Clan Championships. Well, the Championships are this weekend. The first event, one I'm hosting starts at 3 pm EDT in US Eastern time today, so I should be around, but on call for the event.

The other issue is that with the clan championships, I am on call this weekend for other tourney directors who don't show up or if they need a break. These events are marathons for TDs. All I can say, is that I will have a "full plate" this weekend. Ozzy, Nico, Abyss (my sub) and I might also be on call for the events too.

Hopefully I will have a window of opportunity to play, however there is no way to predict anything till tomorrow.

Norton has been giving me fits since I installed the latest version. I went to the site and used the online analysis and fixit tool, so I'm not quite sure if it is really fixed at this late date, with little time to check. I was having problems initiating the browser, with messages calling for my dialup backup, not the dsl that I have... it tried to do that for retrieving mail too. Hopefully this is fixed.

I suggest to anybody reading this post to get in contact with everyone else in the diplogame as soon as they see them online, this way we can ensure we are together as quickly as possible; I will do the same, but that doesn't mean everyone else just wait.

I'm excited to get this thing started. But from what I can gather from the thread we will probably be starting a half-hour later than usual tonight. Unless of course we decide not to wait for Nicoda, which I don't agree with doing.

But I hope this works out, good luck to everyone.
