May I suggest to include "Thomas the generous" into this election as well?

I don't know if a vote at this juncture is the best idea, generally people have done that once their country has been fully established, but whatever.
Being your NEIGHBOR I think I'd rather have Nicholas lead Russia... you may also want to take this post as a warning as well as a vote .
Another thing I wanted to mention was the "out-of-game" diplomacy aspect that we should develop. I think we need to figure out the BEST medium for IMing eachother so we can all get it and that way it will be easier to conduct diplomacy outside of the game. This has two benefits (1) we can conduct diplomacy during the game which will allow us to focus our attention on the game itself (by not looking at the chat window when the game is pulled up), and (2) diplomatic issues can be discussed during the week more directly.
Just a thought. Also I was tempted to get a sub this Friday because it's St. Patrick's Day here, and that's a great holiday in the United States if you like to drink, and I like to drink. But what I'm going to do is leave in the morning, go to DC, get wasted, and come back to play the game. So expect King Bainor of Spain to be either quite friendly or quite belligerent depending on how my day went. The third part of "El Cid, El Campeador, y El Rey" will be finished today at some point and I hope this installment will tell everyone where I'm going with this story.
(BTW - the title of this story means; The Boss/Master, The Campi Doctus, which in Latin is like saying Field General, but in a masterly way [literally field doctor] and El Rey is Spanish for the King.)
Peace.

Oh yea, its happening I'm sure. At least I am, there were land treaties written up and signed after the first session finished all through PM and whatnot.
Plus, notice my latest post in the story thread, that is an open invitation to all players. Jump on it quick if you are interested in competing for better relations.

I have a dilemma. I too am going to be celebrating St.Patricks day and I'm not sure if that will preclude me from playing, likely is that it will since the party would be at its height when I am going to start playing
12 at night on a friday is not the most practical time in the world for me. I'll make an effort in the coming weeks to prioritize.
However, I might decide the party I'm going to is dull as hell and come back i time, however knowing drunken me the way I do I doubt the sober me will be able to drag him out of there. Especially since there will be girls there...
I'll try to keep you in mind and do my best to get back in time. Thats the problem playing friday in the middle of the night, I usually get hooked into something by that time anyway and have to leave causing much resentment among the ladies at the party and much scorn from my comrades.
Side note. I might have to go to sweden for a week in the start of april, cant play then. Might be able to play in Easter, provided I can get my mom's connection to work since I'll probably go visit the family when I return from sweden... Maybe if theres an internet cafe.... though I'm not counting on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience, it all came kinda unexpected.
LzPrst: I'll PM you the IP address as soon as I know, in case you want to join us later.
I hope you'll join in time though!
Guys, I'll be there in time tonight.
I'm really looking forward to this session! I hope that it'll be without problems, like last week! I'm really curious to find out how that tastes 8)

Well, like LzPrst I am also partying on St. Patty's day, but I will be coming back to my house to play the session, so hopefully things go well, and this time I'm SERIOUS, I am only playing until nine "come hell or high water" as my grandfather says.
But honestly, if I show up and hardly anyone is there without saying why I am going to be pissed off. I have to take the Metro down to DC and then come back for the game at six and leave at nine again. Lz, why don't you just leave the party, play, then go back? I know we start at twelve in your country, and I don't know about you guys, but a party isn't a party if its over by three, so you should be arlight to return less drunk and have every advantage you want over these girls that are going to be there, right?
There is a lot going on in this game right now, and I feel like it would be to our benefit if Germany were there.

Cyber, where is your brother? Will he be there? He never comes by the forums, and I don't think I know his AIM/YIM/MSN/ICQ name, so we really don't have much means of contacting him. Please bring him into our fold.

I really suspected last week that he could have played if we could have contacted him and the only reason he wasn't there was because you weren't there to act as a conduit.

can all players of our team PM me their AIM / YIM / ICQ?
Include (registered) first and last name please
