Really the game can only handle 9 players max. It would be more sensible to sub for whoever is missing. I'm sure that would be more fun but if you insist on Mongols you have only your capital (which I as English claim - see story thread). You have no room to expand, no iron or bronze (English axes all around you); no islands nearby - anything that's useable is desperately claimed by Inca and English.

Sounds like Germany, except that Germany has a 2nd city, which is almost cultural token by the French btw.

oh well. dont know what Omnitrout will make of the situation. is the Mongol capital a coastal city? it might be a way out, go OOC until he can find land... we'll see tonight.

Its coastal. His best bet (and maybe yours too) is to start preparing for a mass exodus to the New World once it is discovered. Take over some of the AI cities there, build some new ones, move your capitol overseas. Too bad Cyber wasn't the one in your situation, it'd be neat for the Americans to be a resurgent power in the New World.

But either way it will be a nice mirroring of history.
