Events in my personal life, my wife and my kids have pushed my starting time for gameplay to 9pm local (12am gmt), though 11pm gmt was doable. Sadly, daylight savings time will end and I go back to gmt-4 so 11pm gmt is 7pm local which is too early for me given my current rl circumstances. There are 3 possibilities:
Change the time for the sessions which I think would be almost impossible and unfair on you guys...
or get soemone else to play for me (incas)...
or get rid of the incas, helping england's situation in the process (maybe merge the two cultures by city gifting and friendly takeover of cuzco).
If me playing is necessary for any of these I can do it this friday.
If any of this is an incovinience for you guys, I am truly sorry, I should have forseen this problem with my availability. But the fact remains that I am still very interested in the diplogame, this one or maybe another more accomodated to western timezones

btw, we used your save Cyber, thanks for posting it.

Tonight's session was excellent. We had NO problems getting everyone connected at the start of the game. Not one. (we just had to wait for people to patch up and get online). During the game there was NO lag. And we only had one or two drops (and it wasn't Kuno!).

This is how it should be. Outstanding. Thanks for getting things fixed Kuno. You really made an effort to fix it, and you really did.

Can anyone not make it next week? We may have our best session yet then. Its looking like Mongolia is heading for being divided up. I'll address it more in the story thread, but its probably a good idea. No one has been in charge of that since the start, and whoever we initially created the civ for hasn't shown his face here so there is no need to keeping it for him. I was thinking we could perhaps bring in a new player to take over, but... 9 is still a plenty big game already. Getting all 9 of us to show up every week is tough enough. 10 may be too ambitious.

And by looking at the map Deity posted, the northern bunch seem to be as crowded (or more) as the southern bunch, but with worse land. So it may be good just to let a bit of warring go on. I don't propose we give cities by any artificial means however. If England/Inca/Russia/Spain/whoever want a piece of them, they've got to take it by force.

Anyways, that's my OCC thoughts on the matter. What my in character thoughts are will be another matter entirely, but we'll get to that in the story thread.

The AI perfectly followed my research / build / worker order path!
After that it went for it's own, which is good enough to me.
I think that is great news! If you can't play, just be sure to queue your desired actions! Hold SHIFT to queue worker actions, to choise different techs you want to research and use contro-click or shift-click to manage your build-order per city.
