Don't be an idiot. Beta testing means just that, they were involved in the pre-release version. I'm sure there were many last minute tweaks to gameplay after the Beta Testing finished.

No, I think it's the same one--look at the way the islands are arranged.

Looks like someone was playing the 1000 AD scenario. A lot of cities, religions, civs, etc are in the right place, but there are a few odd ones where the AI has been expanding randomly.

Way awesome ... Next weekend I'm going to start building earth maps as well. Going to make my off-axis map and going to study a bit more on prehistoric maps as well.

Right now I'm just having too much fun playing to worry about modding or map making

As much as I'm loving this map (which should surely have been included in the game?) I'm getting pretty bloody frustrated at the amount of crashes large maps like this seem to cause.

I can't believe they released it with the purported memory leak.
