Well that's UEFA's fault isn't it? 14 is enough spots for Europe. If the top 14 didn't get through, UEFA is to blame for that, not having too few spots.
I would even like a reduction of the WC again. 24 teams again mebbe or even less. The group stage was pretty boring compared to other decades.

I missed a few minutes of the game here and there so perhaps I missed something significant. OTOH, what the ref didnt do was decide the game by sending someone off who shouldnt have been (as we saw earlier).
