The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Just Mrrshan have 3 above-average players. I discussed it with Step. I think we found a fair solution. We have 11 teams now with 3 or 4 members. (We wanted some competitive duo in each team. When some old veterans return we might have all 13 teams very soon.)

The activity won't be a dominant factor with an elo rating. The difference in elo ratings represents the chance to win. (See below for details)

I don't like a strict schedule for new 4ways. There should be always the option to start a rated game when you find 4 league members on the chatserver.
Nevertheless it is nice to have some leads:
A) New 4ways should mainly start at friday, saturday and sunday. (Step thought here about exact times.)
B) Saved games should be continued at monday-thursday. Obviously, saved games should be avoided because it is difficult to coordinate the continuation. Especially, when some player is not very active.
Therefore I have 2 proposals:

- It should be possible that a team member continues the save.
@ Rating
I have to clarify. In my last post I meant that the SCORE in a 4way should be 3 points for a winner and so on.
Just the SCORE and not the RATING(improvement). The latter determines the ranking of our different teams.
(For example the score of a won chess match is 1 and a draw is 0.5)
By my comment "3 points for winner of a 4way" I meant that a 4way is treated like 3 separate duels for each player.
The RATING is then an usual elo rating which is also used in chess or go. (See below)
So far, I prefer this solution:
SCORE:
4way: 3 points for winner, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for 3rd.
5way: 4 points for winner and so on.
BONUSES: I like to implement the bonuses in the score (and not directly in the rating).
The toughest fighter should get a bonus of 0.5. (Only the 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on can get this bonus. The winner of the 4way determines the toughest fighter.)
Further bonuses can be discussed.
Bonus for uncreative?
Bonus for non-repulsive?
Malus for uni tol ind 1 combo?
Or some of these bonuses just temporarily?
2v2 and 3v3: 1 point for the winner.
Of course, no toughest fighter bonus here. But other bonuses might be possible.
ELO RATING:
The elo rating has one main advantage:
It solves the above-mentioned "activity problem". Only the above-mentioned bonuses cause a small inflation in the ratings. But this seems acceptable.
There are just 2 problems to solve when we want to apply the formulas.
a) the initial rating: I propose that the initial elo ratings are 1800 for all teams.
b) the appropriate K-Value: It was mentioned by Step and Brutal that +30 rating points for the winner might be a good value.
Well, with elo there is no fixed amount which is added to your rating. The improvement of your rating depends on the ratings of your opponents. Therefore I think that the 30 points improvement apply when your opponent(s) has (have) the same rating as you. To accomplish this I propose a K-Value of 60 for 2v2 and 3v3 and otherwise K=20 (4ways, 5ways...).
Some Examples:
2v2:
a) alkari (1800) - bulrathi (1800) 1-0
after this game alkari has an elo of 1830 and bulrathi 1770. (30 points in this case)
b) darloks (2200)- elerians (1400) 1-0
ratings after the 2v2: darloks 2201 and elerians 1399
c) darloks (2200)- elerians (1400) 0-1
ratings after the 2v2: darloks 2141 and elerians 1459
